:)
Great performance.
Proud of every single one of them.
The fans were as loud as I ever remember and we footballed Derby to death.
We could have been sharper but we bossed that game comfortably and we seem to be getting our grove back.
Good to hear :)

Agreed, we bossed that. Shame we couldn't get 3 points but a draw is very decent against a team who have been flying.

Well done lads!

We made derby look bang average and the away team, dominated possession, felt very much like a performance pre Coutts

Sounded a great atmosphere on the old facebook live. Looked so much better than them in most departments and I think the Derby fans will say they had an off-day, but we were great.

I think we could learn something from Clayton Donaldson's earlier, deeper cross as a means of 'mixing it up' occasionally.
Good start to 2018!

Lundstram MOM for me just ahead of Stearman/Basham.
Thought his defensive game was brilliant today. Did a nice little turn and run at one point and it's that type of thing he needs to do more.
Thought Stearman was brilliant also. Whole defense did well bar the pen.

Think today we got a glimpse of why Wilder bought Stearman. Imperious at the back and brings the ball forward like a midfielder. Basham was also superb.

Lundstram showed a tendency to bring the ball forward at pace, which was an aspect of his game that had been lacking

Good performances all over the pitch.

Only just got back from a New Year do only seen result & haven’t heard any reports etc. The comments above cheer me up no end .. I as most would probably have took a point beforehand but reading this sounds like we could have won ?

Was as good as Bristol City at home.

Nice to see Stearman improving game on game now and his distribution is looking very good as well. He has the ability to carry it out from defence and can switch it between flanks pretty well. He will make the odd mistake here and there but I think Wilder is happy to take the risk for what he can offer the team when in possession, which we are now starting to see and I agree with him.

Lunny was a beast, Fleck was slightly sloppy with his passes in the first half but when they clicked Derby were just chasing shadows.
Enda and Stearman were also much improved today.
Did I mention our support? What a repertoire, what a noise!

yes, the best since Coutts - what was interesting is that Lunny didn't try and play the Coutts role.

So, how do we now WIN a game of football having 60% possession and dominating for long periods?

UTB

If our performances continue in this manner the wins will come .

Ruddy 'eck , we've now got all 3 centre backs bombing forward? This total football will never catch on you know.;)
Seriously though, great result against an in-form team. (Sky panel were tipping Derby to catch Wolves earlier today).
UTB!

Yup, the fans were great came across brill on the radio and in the chatroom....(flipping windows...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr), well done blades, supporters and team. 5 star.

The difference today was WE made Derby look shit.
The other week, Sunderland made Sunderland look shit.
No more false dawns. We are finally finding our new style after losing such an influential player.

Great performance from us today, always powering forward when we could. Derby had very little to offer up front always closed down very quickly. I don't think they are used to having a team attack them so much on their own ground. Wilder is a brilliant manager never sits back always powers forward...Best form of defence is attack..They never had a shot on goal. In my opinion Jack O'Connell brilliant MOM

How are we sixth in the league if we started off poorly and haven't really improved o_O

That's football for you. Despite our balls into the box being poor our early season dominance should have created more goals - it simply didn't but we still won games.

Stevens has been the worst culprit all season.

It isn't a crime by the way to actually WANT the team to be better in areas where they are poor - IMHO.

I was being ever so slightly facetious there Fulwood so I apologise .

I understand what you are saying btw and I also concede that if we are dominating every team we play in the same manner as today and we struggle to create openings then we are in trouble . But with our recent run of poor form I think it's very encouraging that we appear to becoming more settled in defence and midfield since the Villa game . The potency will come back if the performances continue in the same manner .

Rest 3 or 4 for the cup game and bring one or two in aswell and I think we'll all see that the mini blip is over .

I really don't mind Derby County, and so it's very pleasing that we outplayed an undoubted decent team and could have won. Seems more of a controlled effort by the Blades today, playing to our strengths.

Am a Happy Blade this evening.

And that was before I watched the "highlights" of the Truffle Botherers.
