I thought the original deal was the prince was putting money purely into the playing side, then this changed to ‘when we get to championship I’ll put money in’

As far as I’m concerned I don’t actually see what he offers to the club?

Why does it matter if Mcabe matches it why doesn’t he just put his brass in?
 
Only thing that gives it slight credability is McCabes inexplicably rejoining board.

On the other hand who would buy 50% off someone because the other 50% owner won't invest?

If true HRH is foooooked as are we.

Well I've just had a peruse on his Twitter, bit of anti Muslim shit, bit of LGBTQ ribbing, few crap jokes, attempts at being an observational comic, sounds like a bit of a twat. Nothing to suggest that he has a common contact with Saudi royalty or the board at United. And as others have said, what about Jan with a Van?

Agree with davidblade, sounds like some Wendy armour to deflect a few shots from their dumpster fire.
 
That’ll be right, just a week after bringing Jan Van Winckel on board and presumably party to the loans set up to assist cash flow in January, he’s now decided to fuck off. £15M sunk in getting out of division 3 (matched by McCabe). The club currently in a play off position half way through the season.

Why wouldn’t you fuck off ?

I’ve seen his tweets and seems to be a Unitedite but he’s been gullible and beeen fed a line by some porker.
They really have been in meltdown over in S6
What better way of distracting attention from there own plight.
 

what utter garbage, IIRC he has a buyout agreement, so he would surely try buy the other half if this was the case; and not make a loss on his investment thus far.
 
Well, I'm disappointed. I thought this would be a thread about princes facing each other off in some kind of contest about pimped-up camels or a fight over yachts.

If this sounds like a flier, could we have a "Princess off", instead ? That would be much more fun. My money's on that Taylor Swift ...

That’s not the information I’m fed. Quite the opposite. The McCabe family stepped aside for the prince, who failed to come up with the goods. They are now back onboard after he failed to deliver, and they would like to see the back of him.

We'll just take whatever is offered to Wilder! The only thing that worries me regarding any rumours of the Prince's future is unrest, like what Harry had to put up with back in 1990!

He loaned the club £3m last year of which £1.6m was used to buy shares towards matching McCabes investment. He was still owed £1.4m at the date of the last accounts.

No one stepped aside. The two owners make the big decisions rather than Directors, who are simply officers of the company. Not saying there hasn't been a fall out as I don't know, but the changes on the board didn't mean a great deal.
 
If the prince was scaling back his involvment with us then surely he wouldnt be appointing DOF type staff??

The McCabes left the board, and are now back on it. But that’s not the real point - which is that there’s a stalemate about who should be investing what.

The McCabes are, I believe, disappointed with The Prince’s input.
