Not really Blades chat, but it affects us, so there :p

It's worth popping t'Championship on this morning, for an interesting lesson in body language and crowd reaction at the Birmingham game.

* McLeish looks a broken man after the whistle.

* Birmingham fans looking like they've been relegated, some even in tears and booing at the final whistle.

* A tiny proportion of Brum fans staying behind after the game to watch the lap of honour.

Their show of "support" towards the team is absolutely abysmal considering that all they need to do is win one match to take them up. We have got far more to do yet we back the team when it matters.

I hope their confidence is shot to shit for next week.

COME ON YOU BLADES!

Just watched the championship and brum were awful.

I think that should Reading win tomorrow they will be the danger in a weeks time.

 they didn't show that ginger kid being kicked by Jerome yesterday.

For anyone who hasn't got the Championship, a ginger Brum fan ran on to the pitch... so Jerome chased him and kicked him to trip him up, before Mellor blasted the ball at him :D

Hahahahahaha.

I agree with your comments Linz. McLeish didn't sound too confident at all, nor did their fans appear to be.

Thought the fan being kicked was brilliant he didn't know what to do or where to run after. Anyone catch Mick McCarthy going after the fan :D

After we lost at burnley, brum must have thought they had it in the bag.
Yesterdays results must have been a major psychological blow. Brum must feel flattened. They're not that good a team and think they won't get more than a draw at Reading. There manager did look gutted to say the least!!!

I just caught the game on the Championship, really funny bit at the end where McLeish raised his hands to applaud the crowd and they instantly started booing so he put his hands down again and walked away sheepishly.

I can't believe we are in the position we are in!

we must have been about 10 points away from 2nd place at some point.

Oh the joys of watching PNE score 2 brilliant goals from nothing, then getting completely soaked by about 3 different pints, including my own, whilst hugging and kissing a complete stranger!

UTB!

McLeish's face was indeed a picture to behold, he looked like he had lost a tenner and found a penny!!!

 They've appealed Bowyer's red card.

Apparently you should be able to try and rip the shirt off an opposition player and wrestle him to the ground.

Perhaps he wanted to be Williamson's "special friend"?.... :bummer:

Quedrue should have been sent off anyway, he handballed it twice.

I saw that and could not believe they are appealing- pressure pressure pressure

I cant believe they are appealing.

If anything Preston should be appealing both of the their red cards.

If the FA don't lob another game or so onto the ban for a frivolous appeal, there's something pretty wrong.

Both Williamson & Bowyer have lost their appeals.
