So after last weeks disappointing draw with Birmingham, it's the testing trip to Millwall this afternoon. Millwall have a pretty decent record at home against us, but have struggled somewhat in the league after promotion via the play offs. Although they've not won in 6, this is a very very difficult game IMO, especially as we have been slightly off colour in the last couple of games....

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

Baldock looking a likely returnee?

Surely Clarke continues up top?

Stick with the same solution to the Coutts 'problem'?

Indeed stick with the same side that started against Brum?

Would be nice to get back to winning ways, but I don't expect any favours despite them misfiring lately. Heart says 2-1 Blades victory but really not that confident. So will it be 3 without a win? Which could also be 2 undefeated......

Safe journey Blades

Gonna be a tough game, need to be on top of our game if we are to get anything imo.

If Baldock starts pretty confident we will out football them and get a win.
Safe journey for our travelling Blades

We win "tough games"
1-3 and the momentum can build back up for the festive fixtures.

A win today for the Blades. The force is strong.

Nailed on a couple of weeks ago, but in the Post Coutts era (2017PC) I'm not so sure.
One point from 6 at home since he was ruled out for the season - lets hope we can get going again away.
I'm hoping we have had a wobble rather than a full scale derailment.

Fingers crossed Baldock is fit. Incisive wing back play will be crucial today, against a resolute defence.

With both wings in full flowI can see a comfortable win, otherwise we will just scrape it.

Baldock really important, once he returns the impact of losing Coutts won't look so bad, Lundstram will get a better outlet and will have more time to develop in the roll. Not convinced Baldock is returning though, having said that stick to our game use Brooks & Carruthers less sparingly and we can still turn over most of the teams in this division.

Milwall away is always hard and we don’t have a great record there. A draw would normally be decent but if we still want to keep pressure on Cardiff for second we really need to win.

Big few weeks starting today up to New Years. We could cement ourselves bang in contention for auto or drop to the fringe of the playoffs.

The sooner we get the first win post Coutts the better.

feel really wet about this game. Think we're still adapting to the coutts loss.

Be good to get the three points to keep us up there and keep that double figure points gap on the piggies.

I think the internet will be back up and running in S6 tonight as Hull will just roll over at The sty.

We have been hard to beat in every game so far this season (bar v our bogey team in Barnsley!) and I expect no different today, especially against a decent Blades team.

If we had another Sheringham or Harris up front we would be in the top half at the moment - but, a lot of clubs could say the same. The point is though, the defence is sound (bar the odd keeper howler!!) and we stay in games.

Wallace is back, which gives us a bit more creativity. But, Romeo has had to come in behind him - meaning our right side will have lots of pace and attacking verve, but not much in the way of protection!

I'm going for a Millwall win, one, because I have to, and two, just because Harris and the team has always delivered when we've been in a tight spot and need a performance. If the Blades win it will be because they earned it and showed they were the better side (which I think you are). But, just fancy us keeping it tight and nicking a header or two. Should be an enjoyable blood and thunder game.

Nailed on away win today :)

No Baldock, Sharp on bench. Leon and Brooks up top. Stearman starts.

interesting. Brooks could destroy them.

Pity about Baldock. There was zilch coming down the right v Birmingham - we missed him. Not surprised Sharp is dropped to the bench - he was invisible v Brum. Good chance for Brooks to grab the shirt - but he'll need to plunder a goal or two if he's going to keep Billy warming the bench for a while. Stearman? I wonder why? He really impressed me when he was at Wolves, but he hasn't impressed me in a Blades shirt so far.

I thought this might be the formation up top last week at home to Brum. Slightly surprised to see it at Millwall. I suppose Wilder thinks if Brooks can handle the derby day atmosphere he can handle the Millwall hostility.

Cheers mate.

BTW - what's the best pub to go in near the ground if you want to get your head kicked in?

As usual a shot on target results in a goal.

We must have the worst shots to goals ratio conceded in the league.

Stearman.... why.......again too many changes will be our undoing in this match, same as Florist and the game at QPR.

Come on Blades, according to BBC 55% possession only one shot though to their two
