Last time I saw Adam playing for Stoke he looked like an oil tanker and turned like one too. He definitely wouldn’t be a good replacement for Coutts from what I saw then

I’d take him. He’s always looked like an unfit bus driver but he has also always been a decent attacking threat. A side like this Blades team would bring out the best in him.

If Adam and Johnson get paid up by Stoke then they will be on £0 per week, they can’t and won’t demand their current Stoke salaries because no one will pay it!

Having said all that, I'm sure if I would sign either, but dismissing them as old, on the way down mercenaries is daft. Plenty of older players have dropped down the leagues and turned out to be great signings.

Yep. The bottom line when signing someone like this is whether we can afford it or not. But after that it basically comes down to attitude and fitness.
