As a long distance fan in his seventies I listen to most matches on ifollow.
I do not wish to offend anyone, but I much prefer Jonathan Buchans commentary to Rob Staton. The former gives a continuous report of the action. While the latter seems to fail to get involved in discussion with the summeriser.Regarding them Kevin Gauge is sharp to the point and knows when to shut up whereas Keith Edwards is rambling ,slow and at times hesitant in delivery, much of which comes over as comparing what happened in the past to the present day and often stating the blindingly obvious.Iast night was a classic example a good two minutes from kick off before any match commentary. On another occasion Rob interrupted Keith to announce the ball had arrived at the edge of Burtons penalty area.
Finally most commentaries are in sinlk with twitter, but last night it was a good 2/3 minutes behind. Why was that?Hope I am not alone in my views.

Buchanan and Gage are the best combo.

Rob Staton talks confidently but often talks a lot of nonsense, not just about united but all local clubs. He seems to have an opinion of the championship which isn’t really based on anything except that many clubs in the division are bigger than united, Wednesday and Barnsley so therefore must be better and we should all be happy with midtable at the end of the season.

If you are impressed by that, you may also be interested to learn that I, being in the same age bracket, can boil an egg and use the TV remote control.
Beware of over confidence ...... and when you have the remote on the boil

and you are sat in front of the TV with an egg in your hand, you know it has struck ....... ;)

Rob did say we play the best football he's seen since he started working on radio Sheffield in 2008. Thinks we are real deal.

But of course there is some sort of radio Sheffield conspiracy.

As someone who can get radio London and Berkshire and radio three counties let me tell you radio Sheffield commentary is streets ahead of those!

......I wasn't going to mention that.

You know you can get commentary from RS with the video I assume?
Sadly you can't run the commentary at the same time as the video, it needs addressing and I have contacted iFollow

I quite like Keith.
On boiling eggs I have a funny story:
My nephew would have been about 25 at the time and had never boiled and egg. so decided to give it a try.
He placed a brown egg in a pan of boiling water and proceeded to wait for it to be done. Thirty minutes later his mum came in and asked " Boiling an egg shouldn't take longer than a few minutes" My nephew replied "It's not done yet cos it hasn't turned white" :)

Put both the audio and video tab in the microwave with egg and tv remote and you end up in matchday chatroom....
:p:rolleyes:
stand well clear though as it might go bang....:tumbleweed:
