Can only agree with 2 out 4 of your “ facts “They aren't corporate junkets they are fact finding missions, my consultant, a former Government minister said it would be a good idea. The facts from my latest "mission" are as follows.
The older you get, the longer the hangover seems.
Piri Piri Chicken is a thing of beauty.
Lisbon is a beautiful City but too full of Lucky Lucky men and ignorant queue jumping twats.
Coach trips. Do the Portuguese even have such a thing as an MOT?
He's going to be the new Brian DeaneDo we need him. I felt that we were in for him because other options didn't materialise e.g. Sinclair

Told ya, utter bobbar!Him and Fleetwood have been bobbar but it’s only one game and I’ve seen him play much better than tonight on a numerous of occasions, overall, he’s one I’d like us to sign in January.
Gerrimsined!Told ya, utter bobbar!![]()
At the time we were desperate for attackers, now Clarke and Sharp are starting, Brooks has shown he's up to the job of a second striker, we brought in Donaldson, and Lavery and Ched aren't being missed in the slightest. Cole would go right to the back of the queue behind them if he was here and everyone was fit, maybe hang around with Hanson in the can't get on the bench gang. Sometimes if you miss your opportunity it doesn't come along again.

Not at all saying Devante is crap, but perhaps if we're still around the top-two in January we might be setting our sights a little higher?
Any suggestions on who may be a better bet than Cole not forgetting that clubs will be reluctant to let their better players go in Jan and they're therefore usually more expensive to buy?
Not saying I have any better ideas than Cole. Just musing and raising the possibility that we might readjust our targets.
A loan move for Nakhi Wells could be shrewd business. Moved at the end of the summer but not had a game for Burnley yet. Decent goal return at this level, good burst of pace, good finisher and, possibly crucially for Wilder, a point to prove to his current employers.
I had him down as the new Adrian Littlejohn
I had him as the new John Francis

We don need him, or someone like him in my book.
Hanson will go
Ched may or may not get fit
Lavery is often injured
So, that leaves Sharp, Clarke and Donaldson.
Donaldson impressed and then hasn't. Time will tell, but maybe not a regular starter. You would have to think that Leon's age may catch up with him at some point. At least need resting for a few games.
