Wilders interview with RS

Probably pissed off at having to get up early and get on the train to London. And it's cold. And answering the same questions about how he's done what he's done.

Does sound a bit down though.

He does not like him one bit and I'm not surprised with the shite questions he keeps on repeating time after time.

Other than that, nothing to see here :)

Sounds oreyt to me.
Straight talking as ever.

I've thought before it must be really hard to manage your home town club and the hopes and expectations of your mates especially when those hopes start to rise,it's a hell of a lot of pressure.

can't blame him for being off every now and then especially on monday morning after a drink!

Just listening. Sounds like he's just saying it as it is. Second half on Friday WASN'T as good as we've seen this season. Straight bat from Wilder as per.

Personally, I think he's framed his opinion on Fridays game with the idea of keeping peoples feet on the ground. His own, the fans and most importantly the players.

Sounds a bit crokey and knackered to me. Probably got a touch of flu. Nowt to worry about.

I don’t know why but there’s something about today’s interview that doesn’t sit right with me, he almost sounds very down in the dumps, someone said something to upset him?

Either that or he also doesn’t like johnny buchan :D;)

I don't se it that way at all. I thought he answered every question honestly and from the heart, a heart which is clearly with SUFC , and how long is it since we've had a manager we could say that about?

He always sounds much more “matey” with Giddings when he interviews him. Maybe they go back a few years to Wilders Halifax days?

Buchan seems to irritate him. And Buchan seems to KNOW he irritates him.

Sound like my doctor, trouble was I'd broken my leg, stick to the day job stretch, unless of course you are a doctor in which case, retire.

Very interesting. He's clearly decided that the theme this week is 'calm the fuck down, everyone'. Which considering its only the end of October, seems pretty sensible to me.

This. Unavoidably, some fans are getting carried away, and it's hard to think that the players aren't starting to dream of where they might be playing next season given how we're doing. What we need is a calm head, someone to keep us (and more importantly the players) grounded. CW is the man to do that. Absolutely nothing to be worried about. One game (and interview) at a time, and let's see how he sounds if we get another 3 points tomorrow night.

Thought George Baldock comes across fantastic in his interview.

Love the guy. His reaction after the derby said it all. This guy really really wants to win, as they all do of course.

Really like KF but if I had to pick then George would get the nod. Nightmare of a decision though.

I think he's slightly taken aback by the general attention nationally. Everyone's talking about him. I don't think he was quite expecting this season and I think he's conscious of it becoming all about him, not the players. Some managers would love that (including one we regularly argue about) but he's not that type of person.

He didn't seem too impressed about being accused of 'playing mind games' when talking about our performance at Leeds. He clearly values having a very honest approach with his players and doesn't like the idea of people thinking he's trying to manipulate them by being slightly duplicitous.

He's probably not in the mood for an interview by Buchan who asks such stupid questions, which most modern day media people do these days.

I know they all have to take it in turns of covering Blades and Pigs matches/interviews with the players and managers, but if it was me I'd just tell them I don't want Buchan to interview me in the future.
