What the fuck has Wilder done to this bloke?? I remember him as a sulky lazy player in years gone by, now he's full of energy, aggressive and a proper team player. He never stopped running today (and for most games this season) from the first minute until the last. He looks like he's absolutely loving it at the lane (like the other 26000 of us). Great signing, but the management of him is astounding. Massive credit to both him and the manager/coaching team!!

Reading couldn't handle him first half

Follow his instagram if you have it. By his own admission he's quite a quiet, reserved person (in the parts of his life we are privy too anyway), but on his instagram you can really see how much he cares about doing well and the team.

I loved it today, crowd right behind everyone, chanting Leon when he went the extra mile, Coooouuuuttttssss when he went for that corner, and Coutts applauding the fans. Our squad is about 27,000 every match at the Lane, all behind each other.

Makes me feel all warm inside haha

Be playing without gloves next.

Mate of mine who is a Wolves fan text me during the match the other week "Wilder must be one hell of a manager he's taught Clarke to move"

He ran himself in to the ground. I think he is enjoying the reception and chanting he gets from us, at one point he smiled when we chanted his name. Hes enjoying one last forar in his career so to speak

I think he was summed up in 10 seconds today. He ran one of their defenders down who couldn't handle the pressure and simply ran the ball out of play, Leon was grinning ear to ear.
In a nutshell, work work work and enjoy. Well done wilder well done Leon.
He was like a dog with a bone there, just kept on chasing their player even when the cause seemed lost, just doesn’t know when to give up.

The defending by our front three today was absolutely superb. Billy, Leon and Duff never gave them a moment and when their defenders looked up they saw everybody was marked. Forced so many errors.
At one point in the first half they couldn’t get out of their own penalty area let alone their own half. Great time to be a Blade. U T B

The more we chant - Leon Leon - the more he plays.

Tufty knows the player - we lift the man.

LEON

I'd give him 9/10 today. Actually I'd give the whole team 9/10 except Paul Coutts ... 10/10. Where do we go from here. Premier league?...

Against the grain, I’ll stand by my assertion Leon was poor last week.

Not today. Hugely impressive individual performance.

Well done Leon.

UTB.

Take a look back at every goal we’ve scored so far (the ones where Clarke was on the pitch) and look out for his reaction when the ball hits the net. It’s brilliant to watch

On his Instagram page he posted a video of himself doing a circuit. The video was captioned "doing extra sessions" over the international break.
