My my how the worm has turned.
From being the league's no-hopers to a top six team.

Sorry for the lateness. Got hammered last night. Still pissed now to be honest. Amazing what a good side can make you do. Might sue Wilder for liver disease
Cheers & thanks as always Roygbiv - Sad though this may seem, I cant wait to read your 'View from' after a game so was encountering a tad of withdrawal symptoms last night haha - think I need to get out a bit more ;)

All very complimentary comments. Particularly nice to hear from other fans that we have such a great ground (yes, we've always known that :)).

Would suggest the blades fan who made that comment stay away from the Lane, if they were not happy with that performance yesterday, nothing will ever please them, Jeez.

I think I get what the fan meant by the 'worst game of the season' and it isn't necessarily a moan as all things are relative.
Against Wolves and Derby were were absolutely brillliant with some real Rolls Royce football. We were effiecient and attractive against the Dingles and played very well against Norwich, despite their tactics and the scoreline. The fact that this fan didn't think that Norwich was the worst home performance, because we lost, is a measure of how well we played.

So for me, the two 'poorest' games are Brentford and Ipswich. I think we were a little in awe of our first game back in the Championship, against brentford, but we improved as the game progressed. We certainly played some decent stuff against Ipswich but it is a measure of how good we are right now, that it almost seemed like a 'routine' win.

This is not a moan about any of the 6 home games and I'm a very happy little Blade right now.

"...but their defence wasn’t very convincing and it needed someone to go and rough them up a bit."

Only 2 goals conceded at home. Sounds pretty convincing to me ;-)

It's extremely difficult trying to rough up an unconvincing defence when those defenders are constantly running at you with the ball at their feet and you don't know whether to close them down or pick up the strikers and attacking midfield players instead.

You get a Complimentary Twat every time you fly with Crab Airlines, a division of Crab Industries.

This week it's Chris Evans
Bugger. I bought a ticket on Crab airlines because I thought a complimentary twat was free admission to the mile high club.

Really must start reading the small print.

Crabs pilots are the Taiwanese orphans that were supposed to be making the Chansiri Ipswall FC kits. Training is going well but one of the joysticks has to go back to Game. Via D Line taxis, so I'd check Ryanair out. Or Monarch.
