Why did you quote £32 as an example then?

As that is what I paid for the Barnsley game up in the corner (not the most expensive area to sit) as well as 30 for the Brentford game on John Street which has similar leg room issues btw.

Which ever was you look at it, it's a 20% increase in ticket prices game to game. Even on the kop

Which sadly reflects the cost of championship football, and will be a fraction of the increasing costs for the club.

So it's the lack of leg room - for you, and not the kids you're bringing? Or a post that I don't even notice?

Really?

This isn't even a personal issue.

It's a general idea that tickets are too expensive... Everywhere.

Justifying a 20% price hike on the basis that it makes us more competitive suggests that you'd be willing to pay an extra 100+ on your season ticket. I mean why should you get discounts for paying for all the games... It would make us more competitive if you didn't, right?

My season ticket didn't go up by 20 percent. But it went up, as to be expected.

You get discounts for bulk purchases. Another way of the world in which Sheffield United has to compete.

So, can you explain why the kop seats, starting at £20 for adults and £10 for kids, aren't acceptable to you? And can you explain how you see that as the club fleecing us?

20 for a handful of matches that used to be a tenner at category c? We're mid-october and haven't had that price band yet... Next week is the first one.

There's your answer the cheapest games have doubled in price from just a couple of years ago

How long ago did match day tickets used to be £10 for a cat C game?

Don't know exactly, I know they got rid of them recently. But we did have them in league one at some point. So not too long ago.

I think we did something where for 6 games each season we would do a £10 game. I don't think there has ever been a category C for £10 though.

We had the price bands so it was A, B, C, with C being a tenner. Could be wrong though. Been away for a long time!

And the football is ten times better, and the average wage in the championship is 5 times more.

Done to death now, but it looks like you are in a group of about one who believe you are being fleeced.

You can thank the fantastic start

I’m getting one in the family stand. Two years ago I was persuading the kids to go to 5 or 6 games in a season: now they’re telling me who we’re playing before every home match and asking, “Can we go?”.
Nearest I’ve been to a season ticket for 24 years.
