Coutts - is he done?

Didn't raise this to make it a debate on the merits or otherwise of Coutts. It's been done enough....more to poke a bit of fun in a lighthearted way.
But I will say this.
To be competitive at a pro level requires incredible fitness. My 16 yr old wannabe compared to a pro is miles apart...and he's a fit lad. I know because I have seen the test results.
Coutts role requires immense fitness, and pre season is where those foundations are laid for the season. He had 18 months here prior to this season, and only one pre season. This season.
Might not sound much, but it is.
Coutts effort, attitude and contribution this season cannot be called into question.
I haven't called it into question though, I've continually praised him this year.

The last two were inexcusable, but it's gone and I'm too happy with where we're at now to be dwelling on previous shiteness, for which many players and managers were to blame.

Wank wank wank.....utter bollocks.
Were you appreciating Sharp when he was being utilised poorly in his first two spells with the club? Guess you were, so apply that same thinking towards a few more players.

I rated Coutts as a player despite last season. Look it up if you don't believe me. But not on how he played consistently, but in his actual clear ability.
You can masturbate over old videos of Warnocks warriors and grafters if you like....falling over the ball, clattering into tackles and destroying matches by stopping the footballers. I prefer to have my team use our own footballers to outplay opponents.

And I certainly don't wander around at 43 trying to be cool.

Wow, an opening line that Gore Vidal would be proud of.

I can't abide Neil Warnock actually, so that stereotype fell short pretty quickly.

I appreciate players who apply their talents in a positive manner. Golden Boy in his own words was too "bored" to do that last season (his own words).

You can wipe the foam from your mouth now if you like.

I am afraid, with a heavy heart because I used to like you, I have no option but to refer this post to Operation Hydrant...

Given time, every thread in a football forum references Hitler or homosexuality.

You could always see the talent in Coutts, too few people gave him the necessary leeway bearing in mind the horrible injury that he had and the time it takes to truly recover and get fit from that.

Credit to the management team that they have polished this gem for us and he is absolutely integral to a successful United team.

says all it needs to really
