One lad round us shouted "it's the midfield Blackwell".
His response was, and I quote:
"Try supporting the fucking team you do-nut"
I do support the team Kevin... like many others. We travel all over the country supporting our team. And I have never been so fucking furious with Sheffield United than I have when you turned round and said that.
We were supporting the team when our defence went missing 30 seconds into the game and let them score. We were supporting the team when Lupoli equalised. And we were still supporting the team when another bloody mistake cost us.
You weren't sat with Sheffield Wednesday fans behind you Kevin, like I was. And they were taking the fucking piss. If telling you to sort the bloody midfield out prompts that reaction from you, perhaps more people ought to start telling you.
I also want to point out that the fixture people have got the names wrong on this match. It was just about Greg Halford v. Sheffield Wednesday.
I'm so angry. But I'll be sat in my place supporting my team long after you're gone Blackwell.

I have nothing personally against Blackwell (well I didn't before his attitude today). He's been a spot on bloke every time I've seen him.
The problem is, he is the only one who can change the way we play. He cannot just turn round and place all the blame on the fans. If your players aren't playing, then it's up to you to make them play... not us. You're paid to do it and we pay to be there to see them do it.

Its been awful for ages now and its been snowballing. He cant handle big games and we looked nervous not up for it.

Absolute waste of money! I don't have any coaching badges and I'm not overpaid in what I do...but I (and many of you) can tell that he is punching waaaaay above his weight trying to manage this club.
It seems that the quality players at the club such as Lee Hendrie, Sun Jihai and Cotts are happy to just pick up a wage at this club. Why are they not being challenged to prove their worth? Apparently Sun Jihai refuse to play anywhere other than defence...so is he telling the manager where he is playing now??
For me Sun Jihai has the technical ability and footballing brain to play defensive midfield, pick it up off the defenders and play football...NOT hooomf if forward to a 6'4" striker and pick up the pieces.
Lee Hendrie has the quality to pick a pass and play football, he showed that for the brief moment he came on today.
Players like Howard and Monty are just not doing it at the moment (Monty is good in some games). Howard has not achieved what we expected from him.
Why o why o why do we stick with something that clearly does not work? If you were baking a cake and it was horrible, leaving a bitter taste in the mouth, would you keep using the same ingredients? I think not...

I said it to Keenzy after the Donny game, if he's still in charge at this football club next season we'll be in League One within 2 years.
There's no organisation, no cohesion, nobody seems to be know who's doing what. The set pieces are abysmal, the football is crap and I'm pretty sure the ball will start coming down with snow on it soon with how we're playing.
People thought it was great and a turnaround against Southampton and Preston, as me and Keenzy said on the way back, it's just papering over the cracks.

In days gone by we came out of the dressing room ready to spill blood,now we creep out.The man has shown time after time that he cannot motivate the players he has got for the important games.He thinks he knows about tactics,but I think he must have got them mixed up with these...
As for Mr McCabe - if this is the "Blades Way",then it's fucking crap.Selling our best players for peanuts,concentrating more on a Hungarian 2nd Division outfit,a set of Australians playing in a league that's the equivalent of the Conference,and some team in a Chinese backwater, than the actual club the name Sheffield United is built on,and putting your faith,firstly in a drunk, and now a man that will always be a number two to take your "beloved Blades" back to the Premiership....its simply not good enough.
Give us a team that play football that is both entertaining and productive,a team in traditional red & white stripes and black shorts (no derivatives),a man at the helm that will get us success and keep us there,and most of all,some pride in our club - it's not much to ask for,is it?
