Not one of them could bring themselves to say anything positive even when the compare tied to prompt them. They seemed to so enjoy complaining, and I remembered why stopped going to the Lane as I always ended up next to one of these ‘want to be miserable pillocks’

Then came Brian the Blade what a self deluded T**t he is. Surely RS should check to see if he has taken his medication before accepting his calls

I heard one or two moaning but stopped listening. TBH I was concerned more about Wright than the front two, but having watched it back today, we played really well, CCV and Lundstrom looked decent and there really wasn't much to complain about

I listened as well , and was shaking me head in disbelief at some of the laughable comments ,
You could understand if we were in Boltons position ,
We have just pasted the pigs , and forever banished the BDM ,
beaten a good wolves team and are 3rd ,
No one ( even me ) thought we would have been so high in La liga .

I always remember the words when Wilder joined us.

He said something like

I try to get my players to concentrate on the performance and doing their jobs.
Sometimes you can’t always win, there’s good luck and bad luck but I can assure fans we’ll play positive football
And the players will give 100% leaving it out there on the pitch.

Wilder was saying he can’t gaurantee results but he can gaurantee 100% comitment playing postindustrial entertaining football and he’s kept his word.

That’s all I want, a team consistently turning up, trying to play good positive football and giving 100% commitment EVERY match.

Don’t like losing but yesterday against Forest was a different type of defeat to defeats under other managers.
We turned up again, was positive, outplayed Forest in spells making them look like the away team.
We can’t win every game but we can put in a decent performance and yesterday we were decent again.

Like I mentioned on the Brian the Blade thread, the surprising thing for me was that all the moaners were middle aged to ancient, so they’ll have been through a ton of crap supporting United and you’d think they’d appreciate how far we’ve come in such s short time.

I often tell the younger-uns in my family that football is not like playing a video game, and we need to show a bit of patience and cut a manager some slack if things don’t go our way in games so long as we get the majority right, but these sour old feckers were positively queuing up to have a pop.

Sure we’re all disappointed whenever we lose a game, but after the year, season and week we’ve had, they thought that they just had to phone up a radio station and complain about Wilder because he didn’t do what they thought he should have done. I honestly thought that I was listening to Pigs having a moan about their sorry shower when I first picked up the signal.
