The only two I ever remember really getting the treatment from Blades fans were Terry Curran (obvious, that one) and Paul Richardson. Richardson had faced some real ragging for weeks, to the extent that when he was substituted at the Lane, for what turned out to be his last game for the club, in response to a barrage of booing and abuse he gave the kop the rods.

Matt Hill. Couldn't stand him as a left back but did ok as a centre back.

The thing that did it for me was away at Notts county, he had the ball towards the corner flag, could have swung his right foot at it and cleared it down pitch or for a throw in but chose to dink it out for a corner with his left.

How can any professional footballer be so one footed?
