No, you plank. The world has not turned on it's head. While you lot - aided and abetted by the biased crap coming out of Radio Pig and The Sheffield Stir - continue with the ridiculous belief that Wendy are a 'big' club, the real world gets on with it. Wendy's 'investment' is nothing special in the Championship and having Clueless Carlos means you'll slip further and further behind. Let's face it, Wendy are about on a par with teams like Preston and all the bullshit they generate cannot hide that fact. Hillsborough is a crumbling shithole. Crowds next season will average below 20k. Nobody would touch the ageing has-beens in the squad. Your manager is simply continuing his record of having won fuck all. Chancer will ruin them. I'm LOVING it!!!

While they lie about being '150 years old' (88, actually), next year sees their 50th anniversary. Of the last time they averaged over 30k crowds in a season - something we've done twice since and will comfortably achieve again when our beautiful stadium is extended.
 



The 1867 club which hoped to sell 20,000 3 year season tickets, if the pigs got promotion. Has apparently sold less than 100, according to porktalk. And is now no longer available. What a fucking shock. I Wonder what less than 100 means. It could be any number between 1 and 99. I'll go forrrrr... 15 (fucking mugs).

Am i right in saying that the pigs have been above us in the Championship for 3 hours since they got relegated from the Premier League? I'm pretty sure they went above us at 5pm before we beat Stoke in the 5:30pm game and that is the only time they have been above us when we were both in the championship.

They definitely haven't finished above us in the Championship since they got relegated in 2000

I must confess that I've been like a junkie desperate for his next fix on there since Sunday. I can't wait for a new thread to be opened up. In fairness, for every daft OP, there are some sensible posters trying to keep things in perspective.

In general though, the levels of delusion are still stratospheric and they really can't accept we might be onto something decent at BDTBL.

Must admit I have been a bit obsessive looking on there too but it's worth it. You have to saviour moments like this.

In the words of Norman Stanley Fletcher, one - bide your time. (We are only 10 games into the season, there is a long way to go.) Two - keep your nose clean. (Don't get drawn into slanging matches with the dark side either online or in person) and three - don't let the bastards grind you down. (Constantly listening to them wittering on about how lucky we are, or we are a glorified pub team and none of our players would get into their team etc, will only get you down.)

We are better than them. Let's show our class and keep calm.

They will surely implode in the coming months when they realise there is a new kid on the block who is bigger and better than they could possibly imagine.

At that point we can grind the vacuous cockroaches into the dust.

For me, it's schadenfreude, heightened by the fact that their discomfort is caused at least in part by us overperforming. I am under no illusion that we are likely to end up promoted. In fact, I went to the game last night prepared for a loss and I'd still have been giddy today.

I intend to savour every sweet moment, we're half way to safety, I'd have settled for that this season.

From what I saw O'Connell, Fleck, Coutts and Brooks would all get in our team for starters. Then probably the right wing back as well, and that ginger sh!te who stopped us bouncing looked decent as well
I just don't understand how this can be the case - who the f**ck are they?? Where did they come from? Most of them didn't even cost any money FFS
We have to spend a fortune to assemble a reasonable squad, they spend nothing and make it look so easy. Got to say it's seriously grating on me
I'm starting to think we've really f**cked up massively in spending what we have on this squad
