but I thought tonight's result was amongst the most impressive this season.
To re-group after Sunday's massive achievement, (both mentally and physically) and still pull out a top drawer performance against a well fancied team for auto promo, who remember, were above us before tonight, is nothing short of brilliant. Top class stuff from Chris and all the squad.
I don't know how long this magnificent roller coaster ride will last, but I'm loving every bloody minute of it!

Excellent point, which I've echoed in slightly different terms elsewhere. For many teams (and nearly all "old United" teams) it would have been "after the Lord Mayors Show". This lot impress in so many ways.

That was a real test and yes it may be that the red changed the game but we were already playing well and in my opinion looked to have the greater quality than them. Thing is they are so fancied for a top six spot and it showed because even with Ten men they decided to have a go and looked quality in having a go. They have more quality than any team I have seen visit us so far.
