How Massive was the attendance

Apologies if discussed elsewhere, but anyone know what the attendance figure was Sunday, and how short of a sell out for the bouncing pricks?

I'm not attendance obsessed, but we know they are and there seemed to be lots of gaps in the stand below our lot.

We were given a small allocation out of spite and a belief that the home fans would snap up the tickets. They didn't and people watching on nationwide TV would have seen their empty seats. Wendy once again proving that they are not as big a club as they imagine.

Well it was sold out as you know. Around 500 of ours didn't get in until we were 2-0 up so maybe that confused him. Most of 'em are easily confused ;-)

That said, they did fail to sell all of the tickets that were made available to home fans. At the final count, I understand that there were c.300 tickets in the Leppings Lane lower tier that remained unsold and c.100 tickets in the Kop. It wasn't a sell-out.

Thought they would sell out easily, what with being massive. Especially given the areas pointlessly netted off reducing capacity.

Do they ever fully use that crappy little triangle of seats next to the away end, that seemed to be occupied by 20 people sitting in a couple of rows in the middle?

As I understand it, the 'North-West Corner', as they call it, no longer has a safety certificate. It has concrete cancer.

They moved a couple of hundred Wycombe fans into it for their 'Bring along Granny and Auntie Flo' game in 2012, but it hasn't been used since. Of course, a certain independent inquiry has reported in the period since 2012...
