Another Palace player, winger Jobi McAnuff has handed in a transfer request and is in wanted by Watford and Sheffield United. (Times, Guardian)

What is everyones opinions?

Personally i would rather have Koumas or McSheffrey. McAnuff is a good player, but if he is the only midfielder we will be bringing in, then he is no better than what we currently have.
 



The blades are being linked with him this morning
 
Would be a good signing for us I reckon.

Especially since we didn't go after Routledge.
 
I really rate McAnuff, and yes he can play on the left

Wiki was edited the other day and can be edited by anyone ;).

The information is from a few sources, the only strange thing is that supposedly its been done a while but been kept quiet at the request of the club he's coming from.

We shall have to wait and see what transpires. I understand it should be announced towards the end of this week or early next.

Doesn't make any difference before Saturday or next week, as he's cup tied anyway.

PS - As always, until he's pictured in a blades shirt, this is mainly rumour ;)

Don't mean it's going to happen!! ;)
 
I hope he signs, i've always rated him. Plus his proper first name is Joel, so he must be good :rolleyes:.

Aye... but when are fans any good judge of their own team's strengths and weaknesses? ;)

Reading what some Blades are saying, you'd be surprised to see us at fourth in the table.
 
Same un that told me Ward was a Blade has told me McAnuff is a Blade reight now !

Wouldn't bank on it, as I say, according to my information it's been done a while :) The only update I had today is that its "closer" to being announced :)
 
what happened to only signing better than what we have?

he isnt better than cotterill or halford at this minute
