The signs were there that we could surprise a few. Long way to go and we've still got some tough games to play before we can really judge things, but can't argue with another away win and a clean sheet after making a few changes

4 changes to the starting line up wasn't it?

Me. I know it's still early but last season I made a comment about the season being sensational, however, I added that the next season (meaning this curent season) will be even better.

Wilder is working miracles, this squad should be nowhere near 3rd, even after 7 matches.

Hopefully he keeps us in the mix come January and we can back him to give it a serious go in the second half of the season.

People usually thrown that 10-game yardstick around.

Even if we lose the next 3, we'll still be in a great position.

But I think Norwich are there for the taking, a draw against Wolves would be a good result, and the pig game in-between will be...interesting.

Great time to be a Blade. Let's knock the Canary cunts out of the way and bring the pigs on.

As far as pigs are concerned it'll have been another lucky result, teams don't know how we play, Yadda Yadda bollocks

All credit - we've not had the easiest start on paper. And it's gonna continue with Norwich, free spending wolves and the pigs.

- We've played a Cardiff side that's started the season on fire.

- 2 relegated sides away from home.

- A fancied Brentford side (albeit it they have started the season poorly)

- Had a local derby v Barnsley. Which can be tough

- And played Derby who'll be top half this season with an expensive squad.

Today's the first one you'd really say we should deffo be coming away with the points and we've got the job done.

Anyone would have taken this start.

Great bloke and ambitious long may it continue I'm loving every minute UTB and thank you Chris Nice to be back xx

Totally agree, and the pigs have been lucky enough to play only 2 games from 7 against teams in the top half of the table! But they'll conveniently forget that.

In my mind we've had two games that I'd really marked down as important this early and that was Bolton and Barnsley. They're the sides out of our opening fixtures that I thought we needed to look better than (and beat) if we're looking to survive. We were way ahead of Barnsley, and tonight even though we weren't our usual entertaining style, I thought it was a very comfortable win with multiple changes.

So far, we're way ahead of what I thought were reasonable expectations. Still staying grounded and expecting some teams to hurt us, but over the moon with this start.

I can't understand why Sheffield's massivest club got 3,000 less fans through the turnstiles when they played Brentford than when we did

I think that win v Derby gave the team some real belief that they can compete with anyone in this league. I always think it's a good sign when you win games like the one tonight, a 1-0 away win in awful conditions against an uncompromising ugly physical side like Bolton.

No titans in this league, as a brave minority dared to say from the outset, whilst others quaked in terror at the thought of Brentford et al.

Beware Norwich, though. They have quality and will come good sooner rather than later...

maybe because ours was a midweek game into the season and brentford for you was 1st game of season at home after promotion.the attendance thing is :tumbleweed: and who really cares as long as the team is winning on both sides.
