Can you please take a look at the following link to my fundraising page? I'm a man of my word and it's all for a great cause, the ljs foundation, the charity set up by Billy Sharp and his wife in memory of their baby boy luey Jacob sharp. On Transfer deadline day I tweeted around 10:30pm that if we signed a striker I would have him tattooed on my backside. Obviously we signed Clayton Donaldson. It was then suggested to me that I do it for this brilliant charity that close to a lot of Blades fans heart. I've already passed the £250 mark so will definitely be having the name tattooed, but help me reach £1,000 and I will be getting a picture of Donaldson tattooed. In just 3 days we have managed to raise £290. Our target is £1000. I truly believe with your help with raising awareness of this we can smash the target in no time. So if you can help with helping spread the word in any way possible that would be amazing.

What is it with these tattoos for charity?

Not really much of a test of human endurance - getting a blokes name tatted on yer arse!

Glory be.

It could get even better if we can get Harry Gration to do the Look North report.
You in the middle with dropped trolleys and Clayton and Harry either side pointing at the classic piece of art.
Please tell us you are a huge fat bloke!

How about having the tattoo is somewhere more visible?

Unfortunately not

If I were you I'd get the tattooist to do it of Brian Deane. Then if Clayton turns out to be another Iffy Onura you can say that it's actually Deano. If he turns out to be a decent player, just tell folk they are looking at it from the wrong angle if they think it's not him

Go on then, let's see you do it. :)

Only after you cjx my furry friend. :p

Brett should forget the tattoo idea and may I suggest raise money by rowing a coracle across the Bering Sea, in his pants.

Now I would sponsor him £1 a mile for that feat.

Great to be doing stuff for charity but tattoos are too permanent mate, have a temporary one or do something else endurance wise and I'll drop you a few quid but have a think before you have something like suggested, why not just a Blades badge if you've got to have something :tumbleweed: Yes I'm old and don't like tattoos, can you tell:rolleyes:

I do understand what your saying pal, but I've said it and already raised £400 now. Look at it this way, it's for a brilliant cause and although it's permanent, there's always going to be that story to tell, what I would also mention is that I'm also have 'ljs Foundation' underneath.

Here's a interview I did for the V2 football podcast talking about my fundraising efforts and all things Blades. Give it a listen.

I must say it's a quite strange thing to do for charity, but given that there are two threads along the same lines, not original either.

Good charity to support and good luck raising the money though. I've donated to the ljs foundation in the past but can't support this though, just doesn't really sit right. Not entirely sure why
