I maybe way off the mark here, but Wilders stance on the Agent situation and the Bleacher report article may raise a few eyebrows at the FA and someone may actually take a look at this, its damaging every aspect of the game.

The only eyebrows raised at the FA is during the lunchtime sampling of a particularly fine 1982 Bordeaux

Luckily the premier league clubs look down on championship managers, so we have nowt to worry about.

Only problem might be if we're stuck in this league in a couple of years and Chris still isn't getting the backing to take us to the next level and a big relegated club comes knocking with big money. We'd either have to give him what he wants or let him go.
What you mean 'still' isn't getting the backing?

Yeah it crossed my mind that some within the game might not be best pleased, and even see it has breaching protocol.

Fuck em.

Just checking because it's a very silly statement, one certainly not worthy of a brain scientist.
Wow. He is not getting the backing of Birmingham, Wednesday, Middlesbrough etc, since I've had to spell it out.

He might get fed up of working on a shoestring and a team with backing might tempt him eventually. Unless we get serious investment.

Cannot believe I've had to spell that out.

Why does Jeff tek an international break? At least he'll be appeh with his beloved Hartlepool picking up a win to lift them out of the relegation places :)

Be nice but.....

.......as well as a group of say 250/300 players screwing the arse off clubs their agents are in on it, the FA can't even get £60M off QPR for cheating, did fuck all with West Ham as well as nothing regarding Hillsborough for 20+ years, don't hold yer breath.

Only thing they have done recently is manage to move the League Cup draw to 4.15AM in Beijing.

Danny, you are a plum. In the 15 ish months he has been here the board have sanctioned over 20 incoming transfers.
Not quite the shoestring you speak of. Yesterdays article did indeed make idiots of your playgroup.
You are so myopic it must be an act.
He is in a different ballpark to the biggest teams in the league you bellend.
We can't afford what they can, so we can't afford to give him what they get but if he can't compete financially he may move on.

If Middlesbrough came calling who could blame him? Assombalonga and Rudy Gestede vs Devante Cole and Clayton Donaldson in terms of targets. It's a no brainer.

This isn't even necessarily a snipe at the board it's more acknowledgement that we can't compete and if Chris keeps performing miracles on a relative shoestring there will be a host of clubs offering him a lot of money and a big budget.

If you think otherwise you're blinkered.

Your manager came across well today on the show,he did seem pissed off at the agents with players when julian warren quizzed him.

Jesus Christ Fenton! Somebody finally got through to you!
It isn't the boards fault, everybody take a day off tomorrow Danny gets it!

Throwing money at getting promotion does not guarantee success, look at my club wednesday we spent big and didnt make it.huddesfield didnt spend much and got up with new manager and ideas and the players bought into that,we all crave the prem but imho the champ is a good league to be in as nobody can name the top 6.In the prem you can just about name them season after season.

Truly sad Billy da kid, but that is where we now are. Who wouldn't want a benevolent owner willing to compete financially with the top spenders? We all would, but when it leads to the loss of the soul of the club and the potential for being left with massive debt is it worth it? I would suspect had you been successful in the last two years then the answer would be "yes". As you can see from this board there is a similar debate going on and some would welcome anything and anybody that would invest to compete notwithstanding the risks.
