Cameron Jerome, overpaid mercenary journeyman. He would be a perfect fit for Derby County. Don't want him anywhere near the Blades.

Great suggestion, would be a good signing.
Is what I'd have said in 2009.

Didn't we get rumoured with him back in the season after the Prem?Or indeed 2006.
A bit rich knocking journeymen strikers when you look at how many times Clarke and Sharp have moved around.

Ah that's it!Only time I'm aware of was where Cardiff rejected a several bids for him from us in early 2006, prompting Warnock to go after Akinbiyi/Horsfield instead.
I think you've got an in-the-know mate, but didn't listen properly. He said that we're bringing in Cameron 'n Jerome, meaning Carter -Vickers and Sinclair, but you put 2+ 2 together and got 5. If you get a tip for the Grand National, don't put it on here unless you're sure you heard right. Not the regular starter he once was at Norwich, a Yorkshire lad, perfect foil for Billy.
If not, why not?
Touche, at least Billy has an allegiance to the club.
I live near Hull, at one point Jerome was on the verge of signing for city and was having final discussions. He went off to get some lunch and never came back. Turned out he had had a call from Blackburn and got better terms. Very mercenary and he hasn't really pulled up any trees at any of his clubs.

The odd thing about that is he never signed for Blackburn either.
I don't rate him much but I would have liked us to sign him when he left Cardiff.
No, he's a black David Nugent.
That's nothing, I've been called Gammon and I look nothing like our 90's midfield playmaker. And I'm right footed.Oddly, I've been described as a white Cameron Jerome and I'm nothing like David Nugent.

To be honest, I'm pretty much finding myself hoping for Jerome.
Yep, that's where we are.
