This shock we were in for...

We'll get better as the season progresses, the team is generally built of young (ish) lower league players.
They are now getting used to the pace and better players/tactics of the Championship.
If Wilder manages to bring in his targets,we will be good to go till at least the January window,if things go to plan, then maybe we'll not need amyone.

Fuck that, dance while the fiddlers playing I say. Do you think they won't be acting like they won the world cup if they ever get above us?
Of course they will and that's what makes them massive twats.

I've done a fair bit of pig baiting and gloating already. The last comment I screenshot on Facebook was that it won't last. So yesterday I didn't even mention it. I'll wait until 24th

When the Filth were constantly telling us, towards the end of last season, about how the Championship had changed beyond recognition in the 6 years we had been away, I recall posting something about how, as far as I could see, there was more 'football' played in League 1 than the Championship. Frankly, I've seen nothing to change that view this season.

Brentford played football and from what I've seen so far, it appears that Fulham, Wolves and Leeds are also footballing teams, but other than that, it seems that the money sloshing around in the Championship is being used simply to buy bigger and faster 'athletes' rather than particularly skilful footballers.

Yesterday's game at the Lane was a case in point. Our triumvirate of proper midfielders completely ran the show in the first half. So much so that, Rowett plainly sent Derby out in the second half with instructions to crowd the middle of the park, stop the flow of the game, make it bitty, messy and 'stop-start', and then hit long balls up to the edge of our penalty area and play from there.

Fortunately, Coutts, Fleck, Duffy and Carruthers, are considerably more skilful than most midfields in this division, and on this occasion (unlike against Cardiff) football ability prevailed over the power and athleticism, which is characteristic of what many Championship sides are seeking to impose on games.

We're 3pts and 1 goal ahead of them. Let's save the gloating until we've got some clear blue water between us.
No, lets enjoy it every time we can. The opportunity is there and if they do go above us then your way it's missed. No piggies near you then to help you enjoy this time?

You ain't seen nothing yet, wait till other's a part from
Billy start scoring............wayhay !!!!!

we might only be 3 points and 1 goal head, but we are relegation fodder and this is going to be their year. whatever happens we should be fucking happy with ourselves now as things stand.

I'm glad you didn't class Colin's team as a good footballing team. ⚽ ⚽ ⚽

Some quality posts on here :D

I don't know which is my favourite, mind the gap or the couple's thoughts.

Perspective my fellow blades enjoy the lofty 5th spot I am I'm gonna have a great couple of weeks til Sunderland! This time last year where we're we? & it all changed round dramatically! We have 9 points and we're gonna need 50 for survival! So nothing is done yet! But hey were deservedly 5th playing well with the ability to get better! So it's a good start but we have gotta keep it going! (Obviously )
