I agree about needing cover but gillespie shouldnt be near the club after he said what he did. its bad management again, having players react publicly like that to you and then having to call them back, must have been an embarassing phone call for blackie to make

Surely a manager has to make decisions which he thinks is best for the club whether it is embarrassing for him or not?

If only Blackwell had the foresight to attempt to change the rules and register your Mrs instead.

A lot of people wouldn't ever allow a number of current first teamers ever play for the club again, that doesn't make them right. Most of these same people would be blaming Blackwell for not recalling him if that happened.

Anyway, who says he's being recalled to play for the Blades? He could be off elsewhere.
