I know we've been unlucky with decisions thus far, but 1 goal in 3 is a worrying stat.

It's still early days, but we need to be creating a lot more goal scoring opportunities. I'm not just looking at the strikers, but from all over the pitch.

We're strong towards the end of games (which at least shows we've good fitness), but apart from then goal threat is thin and far between.

As mentioned by many people, many times, over the years, pace is badly lacking.

If fit, I think Evans has to start. He's the one striker who can create his own chances.

We've got 5 extremely hard games this month.
It says something when on paper a local derby is the easiest game.

Give them some slack. Boro cost about 80m to assemble. Cardiff are a Warnock team and an educated outside bet for top 6.

We seem pretty easy to defend against without that threat of pace in behind.

The quality is a big step up from league 1 and clearly we're finding it harder to retain the ball and express ourselves going forward.

Still 2 tough away trips to be fair.

Not a criticism as such. More of a worry. And whilst we have hard games, I'm not convinced the likes of Millwall, Burton, Ipswich and Bolton are going to be a walk in the park. We need to pick up points from the more difficult games throughout the season. We don't want to be in a position where we have to beat the sides at the bottom.

Well considering Ipswich have played 3 won 3, me neither.

We scored one goal in our first 3 league games last season. Same scorer too. 100 points easy by May

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective) we haven't got Chesterfield, Coventry, Wimbledon etc etc etc to play

I'm not too worried at the moment!. We do need pace though going forward!. I'm wondering whether we're being priced out of the market when it comes to recruiting?. This has always been a problem for us throughout the last few years!. I M O. In wilder we trust. Utb

Someone should forward wilder this invaluable info.
