Fighting !!!

Hold on, the threatening tweets originally came from the Boro fans, wanting to smash us when we got up there, they were provoking and throwing stuff during in the game, they threw the bottles and insults outside, and because some blades reacted after coming under attack, theyre now all cunts n not blades!!???
There would be some different views if your wives or kids had been hit by those bottles, and I'm sure you'd be been happy by the blades support then, that allowed people to flee the scene!!, I'm not condoning the violence, I've been privvy to it myself in earlier years, but youve got to hold your own if your being attacked, and believe me, the older ones involved actually think about the kids n families, if the fans as a whole are coming under fire as it were, you wanna stop that asap, for everyone, it's not just a fighting for fun thing all the time!!

Ok I know there are some proper bell ends there, and after the goal, tensions were high, and I don't see the point of invading the pitch, but that was just a dumbfuck minority, it escalated from there, but outside the Boro fans were waiting for blades leaving the ground. It was bound to kick off, the policing outside the ground wasn't adequate again.

If anyone on here was involved in the fighting yesterday then you truly are a complete and utter tw@t! We've gone through years of garbage in the media and to see us as the 4th highest news article next to Trump/North Korea on Skynews is just sad, all the years of hard work down the toilet.

You dont deserve to be a United fan, pure and utter scum!

Perhaps a ban on fans with more than 25000 loyalty points for four away games and then assess the behaviour of the away support?

Did it improve?

Banning orders need to be issued on those identified.

The outrage on here is, as usual, over the top. There has always been trouble caused by a minority at football matches up and down the country. Many on here have reminisced about trouble they experienced in their youth.

Personally I'm more concerned about us strengthening our team.

Trip to Boro and five arrests seems a relatively low number to me. It's always been rough up there, I can't believe it's all United and Boro are whiter than white.

A lot of arseholes on here verbally attacking blades fans are just as bad as the boro fans that were throwing rocks and bottles.

Cocks.

And that's not condoning what happened either, but those attacking blades fans for retaliating either, A) weren't there, or B) ran away.

Oh right, so the two pissed up Blades in the ground at the end we're looking out for older Blades were they? Were they fuck. I ushered out three girls, my grandson and Mrs NYB whilst the fighting went on around us, but as they were being held back from each other on the stairs, quite hard to get out. All ridiculous.

Afraid that's not totally correct, we all know some travel using points amassed in other people's names. Maybe it's those who let their ticket be used that should be banned.

Anyone for photo ID season tickets?

Thought not.

Hope they have been caught on camera phones and CCTV then banned for life with the first 5 seasons having to report to a police station at 3pm

Agree..life bans..forgive me but did we not get onto this subject last season about pitch invasions...oh no said a lot of you..it's only fun .no it's fucking not..if you go on the pitch or get caught doing fucking stupid shit outside, you deserve a long ban from football..utter twats

Un human total retards the lot of them Boro and Utd why not keep what brains they have in there heads and not in there fists. Life bans for the lot of them they are not true supporters of football just morons

He spat pal!

No matter who you support that is very very shameful and indefensible.

I'm not keen on grasses but that's disgusting.
I hate spitting, absolutely disgusting but I'd sooner be spat at than kicked in the face, or slashed with a Stanley knife.

Excellent point. This is a continuation of the 'we can do what we want' attitude of those defending their 'right' to smoke bombs and pitch invasions at the end of last season.

Here, this'll appease the self righteous winceyette and plastic clappers brigade on here...

BOOOOOO..!!!

I suspect it should be fairly easy to identify the spitter.

Don't know why the Police didn't grab him at the time.

I know. These fans, many of them kids having fun, who invade pitches up and down the country to celebrate promotions or Wembley appearances are pure evil. They should be shot. As should anyone who swears or looks at someone in an aggressive way. And don't get me started on full kit wankers.....

Seriously, some on here should give football a rest and take up knitting.

If they believe, or are told, it's ok for them to break the law and/or ground regulations in one way, then they'll believe it's ok in other ways. That's why I said attitude; it sounds like lighting flares on the concourse at MK has turned into throwing rocks at people in Middlesbrough.

It's all about not endangering safety. As with the end of last season it seems that only serious injury or fatality will make some people realise this.

What's so distressing about staying in your seat and behaving like a civilised human?

Mate I don't think anyone is saying it was all us and that Boro don't have their share but quite frankly I don't give a toss about them. We have to clean up our own act not point fingers at others. In the words of Jezza this should not be a race to the bottom

A fatality? Seriously?!

To be fair full kit wankers need stringing up. ;)
