Ched's selection tonight is a cynical ploy by McCabe to put put a few thousand on an otherwise paltry gate.

Well it's working on me ha ha.

Didn't plan going tonight, never that fussed about the early round of this competition when the opposition is so unattractive

BUT the weather looks decent and I am keen to see if Ched still has it
Also keen to see more of Brooks and some of the new players.
So I'm going tonight which is a rarity for me in such an unattractive nothing game.

I look forward to bumping this thread up throughout the season if its hopefully appropriate to do so :)

Almost 1000 posts on one thread about a signing we've made Foxy has to be a record surely?

DOWN.........

This is a proper match, why can't people be bothered to go!?
Gets me how some can make it to meaningless friendlies, but struggle to support the team in what is, after all, the 3rd most important competition we will play in this year.

Get thi' sen darn t'Lane.

It's raining though.

The way you describe it - you've turned it into a something game :)

Yes it is a toughie... Premier League Stoke or 1st Division Walsall ? - hmmmm

and to add that it was the 1st team and new signings v Stoke and a completely second string team starting against Walsall.

Think that answers your question mate. People have to prioritise their spending these days.

They're going to melt them down and make a statue of Chansiri harpooning Flipper.

Or they could do Carlos as a Parody of martin Luther king, Carlos - "I have a dream, (well its a nightmare but lets quickly skirt over that!)"

the below would be the chosen face to model it on.

He has got 2 months to save his job.

A not totally unexpected loss tomorrow v QPR will put him under even more pressure. He said at the end of last season that he is not under pressure (in his eyes) and I actuallt believe him. He is confident of always getting another job, which to me is music to me ears. He does not strike me as someone that will go the extra mile. He seems to be doing it his way, but it does not seem the way the S6 fans want - bit like Clough/Adkins with us.

Personally I think his time is limited. They have a very average defence - 6 decent forwards, where only 2 can play and a midfield that changes as they are all much of a muchness. He is running out of ideas.

Crucial game for them tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I see a win for them bankers

Not so sure - I like Holloway's style - always wants 100% from his players/team and is very straight forward - bit like CW really. QPR could be one of the surprise packages this season.

The arrogant lot at S6 will be thinking it's a home banker............"it's only QPR at home - bound to get 3 points" sort of thing
