Mate, you post what you like. I'm telling everyone else what Brentford fans actually think, not what some silent poster who turned up on our board on Friday has surmised.

Out of 126 posts all together. And every board has a few of its trolls don't they?

How about telling the fucking idiots on your board to be a bit more circumspect rather than coming on here saying Roy has only posted the negative comments and ignoring his post showing the positive and honest . Brentford fans comments?

Well done being a mod. Do you have a nice big badge?

I really think this has been blown out of proportion to be honest. I do this every week and if you read back through previous posts on the blog (don't, they'll bore you to death) then you'll find I'm not someone who intentionally posts "shocking" comments to get people talking. It just so happens that this weekend when I went onto your board I was greeted by the comments I posted. The comments on your board I have read since have shown you are on the whole a knowledgeable set who give a fair assessment. My mistake is taking comments from your board too soon after the game when emotions were high. I usually leave it till the Sunday (and get grief from people on here for being a lazy bastard) but with it being the first game we were all excited so I jumped the gun so to speak.

It's only football rivalry at the end of the day and fans saying the other team is shit is all part of the fun anyway. I have nothing against Brentford and by the time we play each other again this will all long be forgotten.

Guess again Roy. They could be the new Bolton :)

They are not bitter at all though.

From a Twitter twat, not from the Griffin Park Grapevine. Twitter has all sorts of stupid shite on it.

Jack O'Connell - we would have kept him but he knew he was going to be fourth choice so asked to leave and we therefore came to a deal. I don't think he'd be playing much for us as he wasn't quite what we needed on the ball. His best game for us was bizarrely at left back. Was a good pro in his time with us - didn't do anything against us that wouldn't see most fans wishing him well. Plus he scored an equaliser at Fulham to earn a point. :)

9 page thread on here about a few people posting after a defeat suggests you lot are more bothered about it than anyone.

I'm more bothered by my hangover than losing one game.
Of course you aren't bothered pal, why else would you post on a Blades forum just to tell us you aren't bothered.

Bolton fans will still come out with their usual crap when we play them.

I know, I posted it to show that these sort of comments are not localized to your forum.

Wow!! How lucky for little old Sheffield United that he was your 4th choice!

Jack must be buzzing with his performance and a clean sheet, especially considering he wouldn't make the bench at the mighty Brentford FC.

Ah, I see one of my fellow Bees has popped by to comment so nothing new from me I guess.

It's usual for an opposition fan to say ... fan in peace but I can’t say that entirely because I am fucked off with the original poster’s two blogs passed as "views from Brentford".

I am a moderator of the Griffin Park Grapevine where the comments have been lifted from and for some reason only the blogger can explain to you, he has decided to post the worst comments he can find and pass them off to you as “our” view with very little else for balance. If he’s going to do that with every club all season, it seems a bit worthless to me, especially when it’s two hours after a game where most away fans would take 3 hours plus to get home. I thought that kind of shite was for Twitter.
I'm sorry Les but that makes no sense in the days of smart phones and wi-fi everywhere you go. I am quite able to post on this forum whilst sat on the tram on my way home so there is definitely no reason way Brentford fans at the game cannot do the same on a two hour train journey back to London. No one these days has to go home to access the internet.

Harlee Dean, club captain and centre back, Andreas Bjelland signed for £2m with 23 Denmark caps, John Egan signed after being selected for the League 1 team of the year and Yoann Barbet, highly rated French defender. So yes, 4th of 5th. I think you might be confusing us with a League 1 or League 2 side you might have remembered, not one who'd just finished in the top 10 of the Championship twice. The reality is that Jack wasn't as good on the ball as at least 3 of those and therefore didn't fit with our playing style - he is a good defender though and by all accounts a good lad.

As a mod with a special club tie and a lovingly prized badge, I could show you the numbers but the majority of reports come in when people get home. One or two earlier but most up to about 10:00 are from people not at the game.

I think that point has been made several times. One ot two? That doesn't seem to be the case as Satan, or Roy as we know him, pointed out the time he collected the quotes.

Aah. Special club tie.

No girlfriend I bet though.

I'm taking the piss and you are showing the exact same qualities as the filth from the other side of the city. Take your Denmark caps and million pound players. We will take the 3pts. thank you very much.

Also I think it is your players/manager/fans that confused us as a league 1 side.

"Ohhh look at me im a Moderator"
Tosser.

Hardly our fault that your massive fan base stay at home to post on the Brentford forum though is it, take them to task for posting the shit that Roygbiv was met with a couple of hours after the game.

That's not a very nice thing to say is it. :(

Can't believe all the commotion Roy's view from has caused.

He's been doing the view from for years and it's one of the most popular items on this forum, he includes all comments good and bad (we wouldn't want it any other way).
Possibly he maybe produced his view from a bit too early, fans who have been to the game might not have got back. But it's 2017 not 2001 most people can post things on their phone on a coach or train etc, they don't need to be at home booting up windows 98.
Anyway Roy keep up the good work and don't change a thing View from gate will soon blow over.

Despite being a fans favourite here, Jack must be gutted not to be fourt choice at mighty Brentford. I mean who in their right mind wouldn't prefer that?

I wouldn't be surprised if Les Isnt high on poppers chained up wearing a gimp mask with billiard ball being whipped by a Chinese dwarf in a tutu as these replies come in. The danger word being "the new Chelsea" when it all gets too much.

Wearing his special club tie of course.
