Does anybody actually know the diagnosis of Simon Moores injury ?

I can share this with you, but I had to remove the text for patient confidentiality reasons...

I think I've heard of Connor Ripley, but can't be sure. Is it Stuart's lad?

Would love it to be a permanent signing. Would be happy enough with a loan. He's been my preferred GK choice all summer.

It would make total sense to sign him permanently if we can.

Is this him?

A few questions for you CB:

1. How many times have you seen him play live?
2. How did you arrive at your valuation of £300k or less?
3. Why does it matter that he's played games on loan rather than for the club that holds his registration?
4. Who would you prefer to be signed instead?
5. Did you really consider transfermarket's view? Seriously? No, Seriously?
Know where your coming from MOTS but I just checked and the lads only 13...... Canadian Blade that is, not Connor Ripley

Knill was allegedly at the Rochdale home pre season game with Middlesbrough in which Ripley was playing on Saturday.

I have been keen on the idea of this kid for a while to put pressure on moore. It would also give Thomas a Boro buddy/travelling companion. I had a look at a few if the Oldham highlights on that abomination of a channel 5 program and he looked suspect from distance, then I read the Wikipedia thing. Then I thought about Jay o'sheas goal (worldy btw) & I gather doubts and my inner 'pinchy' starts saying hmmm is this guy the new Mark Bunn

He did have one. But the injury is worse than feared. He could be out for some time.

I thought Ripley would be Boro's reserver this year. After Randolph, who else have they got?

He did well at home, but that could be more down to the way Oldham set themselves up last season. They finished mid-table but only scored 31 goals, the lowest in the league by some way.

Fair point sir, still a fairly good record like, get your point though!
