Several championship clubs interested in him.

Think he'd be out of our price range in terms of permanent signing, but a season long loan perhaps?

Wonder if Kelly Brook v Katie Price could be a possible next fight(jelly wrestling) at the lane!!!????
Count me in for a ticket!!!!

Darren says we've enquired.

But he also says Leonard is left footed and Wilder is desperate for a left footer to play on the left of the midfield 3 - Fleck's position.........

When did Murphy develop all this pace? Must be since I last saw him. He's not slow but pacey? Not really. He's not even black.

Can't remember him ever being particularly hungry myself.

Would love to have him back, pacey, ran at defenders, quality workrate and scored a few goals, wish we never sold him, was quality under Clough so imagine how he would play under Wilder with the quick flow/counter attacking football and much better players around him.

He wanted to go. Brighton multiplied his salary. Football in the real world.

SkySports reporting that Brighton are willing to listen to offers of around £4mil.

I've been meaning to ask a while, who is this Darren?
I've not seen him get much tight but he seems to talk the talk

Girona based accountant who apparently has contact with football agents etc. Posts ITK stuff on Twitter. What he puts usually seems believable. Some think he makes it up, I don't.

Talking complete bollocks about the left footed midfielder stuff though. If Wilder was desperate for a left footer in any area of midfield he wouldn't have chased Leonard and Holmes all summer.

Theoretically, if we used the Walker money for this would fans be happy?

Or use it on 2 or 3 players?
I'd rather us get three young players with the potential to improve. However, if he stays at Brighton and we were 8th in January, he'd be a good signing at £4m. Likewise, if CW was confident we could mount a challenge with the players we've already got, he'd be a good signing to 'push us over the line'.

I'd certainly expect the likes of Forest and Derby to be interested.

Never go back.

He had his time, both parties have moved on.

I guess he will be a little disappointed not to get a go in the premier league too. But I can see him ending up somewhere like Hull, Forest or maybe Leeds.

Has he actually got anything bang on the money? Not after the event.
