There is more chance of us resigning Connor Sammon back than Mcabe releasing the 4 million from Kyle into the transfer kitty.

It will go into the same place as the 30 odd million from West Ham did.

We're resigning Beattie, Hendrie, Naismith, Henderson etc and hiring and sacking Bryan Robson then?

Can anyone tell me who Hanson will get in the squad ahead of?

As things stand he is the only "Plan B" striker we have. As such he has no competition for said role when Wilder deems appropriate. I suspect he will be on the bench a lot. Unless we buy a similar but better type. In which case he will leave.

is it being employed by a championship club ?
Playing championship football ?
Or are you just talking shit ?
You're talking shit by saying you have to play championship football to comment on it you wally.

We will never need Hanson. No teams are gonna come and park the bus at the lane this season.

They can't - but they'll still call you an idiot for suggesting to get rid of any of the players that got us up.

Hanson - Done partnership next season please.

I think you will be surprised.
It's not always about parking the bus, sometimes teams will set up to counter, invite pressure and just defend the box.
That tactic is a whole lot riskier when there is a bloke like Hanson roughing them up and fighting for every ball in there.

It's very short sighted to think that just because we are new to the league that the actual experts (opposing managers and teams) won't look at our team, how it plays and formulate a plan to nullify it! So mixed styles of play make it even harder.

On the other hand, certain sides may be weak to that kind of centre forward, so would make sense to have the option at your disposal

To be fair though the Deane & Fjortoft money should have been more than enough to keep the club running for 20-25 years. Everything else is profit for McCabe.

We bought Deane for 1.5m and sold him for 1m. We bought Fjortoft for 700,000 and sold him for 800,000. I think that's right??

I'd like to think Wilder has a Plan A, B, C, D and E before we get to the lump it to Hanson plan.

I'll remind you of that next season when for whatever reason we need to call upon him e.g. Injuries, height up top, aerial threat, change of play style if "plan A" doesn't work etc. Hanson gives us options.

Enjoying the majority of people on here supporting Hanson and not writing him off before he's had a crack at championship.

Couldn't be more wrong.
We paid 40k for Deane and sold him for £2.9m. Not sure on Jan-Age so not guessing.

Hanson's time has been and gone. That type of player has been and gone in the championship. Look at Nuhiu at pigs, nothing but a figure to laugh at for them. As bad a goal return as Hanson for us.

Yeah but the office in the corner, that's pulling in enough to cover everything. Plus can I mention the "freehold" and "Desso". What more evidence do you need?
