Injured a lot, last i heard he was still looking for a new club, one year left on his deal

It really wouldn't. If he did, it will have meant that something (or indeed multiple things) will have gone very wrong with our squad and season.

Have you noticed that we have no long term injuries these days? Also Wilder got shut of Brayford in part because of his dying swan act at Bolton?

Maybe the club are also now taking fitness of our players and the ones we sign seriously rather than pre last summer when it was something other clubs did.

To be fair to him, thought he was a decent player when we brought him in, seemed to be part of our long term plans when he signed his extended deal.
Tidy debut at Fleetwood, when Clough surprised everyone and played him in front of fellow Ilkeston buy Che Adams.

Shows how quickly football changes, wasted a season in Fleetwoods stiffs, and on the look out for a new club.

I thought he looked a tidy player, that's been really unlucky with injuries. At the beginning of last season everyone was adamant Freeman and Coutts would get nowhere near the team... Strange how that turned out.
