Solve the centre half problem - convert Hanson

I'd be happy to convert Hanson into a footballer first.

Was less and less impressed with him the more I saw him.

I was also not impressed based on football ability
But he did have a positive affect on the team in attack and defence (his defending at set plays meant we didn't miss EELs strength).
He's quite similar to Nick Montgomery, little football ability but very effective at what he does.

I'd say he's more of a good tactical option coming on as sub when needed.
Don't think he'll start many but he still should be given a chance, he might prove us all wrong.

Think Billy Whitehurst. We'll chuck him on with 20 to go to unsettle defenders and knock them about a bit. Gives us an escape ball. He'll probably do a season with us and then move on.

He'll be like our Nuhiu.

Shudder.

He'll play his part for us next season believe me ,as I said before will benefit from the more width we'll have . We'll cime up against a lot better middle of the park teams than we walked through last season and he'll outlet we'll use . His hold up play is very good to will bring in midfield runners . I'm not saying he'll start a lot of games as I think CW will start with Clarke & Billy , but will be used for horses for courses games & good impact player . He'll never be a 20+ goals a season player but ask the players who play around him if they benefit from him ?
We still need an addition of a quality CH gives more options then 352 or 442 .

Forgot to add , I always rated Aidan Flint now at Brizzle City when he was with Swindon , as long we don't get another triangle head ( Nosworthy ) things can't be too bad ?

Ok its not exactly a suggestion I'm on board with, but I wish people weren't so hostile to a fellow Blade's idea and if they respond with 'that's ******* stupid' it doesn't really offer any analysis or bring any substance to the debate.

Hanson would be great in the air and could probably sort positioning out, but doubt he can tackle at CB. He is useful to have if we're a goal down with 10 minutes left and running out of ideas, the only striker who can specifically play as an imposing target man. That said if he does get game time and fails to offer anything he will be one of the first out the door in January.

The more I see silly money banded about on Fuzzyfairy, Boyd, McCormack, etc - the more I strangely look forward to Hanson mixing it with the overhyped, overpaid few.

GERRITFORRAD and GERRITINTBOX and let's see what he can do!

Can't argue that he's good at winning high balls, always there when the ball was lobbed in, just a shame he couldn't aim it toward goal or get any power on em.
