Ever ask yourself why we have such substantial deficits each year Pinchy?Neither is the tiresome agenda of our less intelligent fans against the chairman. That's very familiar indeed.
Who do you think makes up the substantial deficit between income and expenditure every year? Perhaps you do? Or is that spin too.

The vast cost of running a professional football club, I imagine?

Cough.......Desso.....cough
I'm sure pommpey will be along shortly to put you right.
Good sensible post but please understand that this will never catch on.
Sounds about right to meNo. I have been corrected on this and it was straight from McCabe's honest mouth.
The stonking amounts we got for Maguire and Murphy went on wages. For players like Flynn, Collins, Hammond, Higdon, Sammon and Woolford.
It didn't go on the Desso. The FA Cup paid for that, we are told.

I assume you are referring to the black hole that is the players wages which enable us to put a team out each weekit was stated in the "Gospel according to the Star" that £850k was set aside from the cup exploits that season for the Desso
The transfer fees just disappeared down the black hole
Now that is a very sensible comment! My reading of this (and in recent years) is that KM and the Prince invest enough each year to cover any of the club's losses and to give the manager a fighting chance with a decent budget. As benefactors they are making a loss each year and I suspect there is a limit on how much they are prepared to lose seen as though both have personal worth in the tens of millions rather than billions.
The Championship is a different game financially and whilst our curent funding won't give us the worst budget we are far off the highest. More money will be needed from somewhere to kick us to the next level financially. We will be punching above our weight in the meantime.

I don't usually get involved in such debates but really if it was t for kev and the Prince all but propping us up we'd have been gone by now .
Gone where? You're not going to claim we would have gone bust are you?
We have just endured the longest period outside the top 2 divisions in our entire history so not too much to be grateful for. Let's hope we see a bit more ambition and better times ahead.Maybe not. But we'd certainly not be where we are now.
We might however been asked to buy a lottery ticket to buy a bloody player. (Hodges)
Or seen Red cards handed out around the stadium.
Do you mean someone else spending their money for your gratification? We have just endured the longest period outside the top 2 divisions in our entire history so not too much to be grateful for. Let's hope we see a bit more ambition and better times ahead.

No Snowy, you're mixing me up with some other chap. I have a slight sight impediment - one eyes 'igher than the other see. Kids can be very cruel can't they?Come on Isiah. You are the prophet. According to the old testament a well connected and accurate one. You tell us as you will of course know having received the word of the Lord.
Let's see if my guess accords with what you say.
