Jonny you are on a different planet!

:D:D:D

We were on a different planet for one of Nyandaro's performances.... Scarborough! :D

But yeah, you are on a different planet Jonny :D

I wouldn't have called it a good interview to be honest, he sounded nervous and struggled to string full sentences together, completely different from on the pitch when he looked so assured. exciting prospect but is there only me thinking where has del boy gone?

It's not how you say it that counts, what you do say does though, basicly he said he was told he would play on Friday morning but wasn't too nervous about it. Also he loved how the fans got behind him making it a special day for a Blades fan living a couple of miles from the lane to play for his club.

Another thing to note as well... all the Watford fans also game him a standing ovation from the pitch.

A very nice thing to do.

But yeah, you are on a different planet Jonny

i think he's on about the pre season game v rovrum when we played a trialist but named him Kyle Naughton

The last debut i can recall that was that impressive was a young cental midfielder who was dangerous and running at players...think his name was nick montgomery????

I believe it was a couple of other games too, Scunthorpe was another I recall and like Foxy said he played against Scarborough too. But I don't think he showed us that he was the next Nuddy.

Still having said that Naughton sounds like the real deal. Hope I get to see him in action next weekend.

I understand and saw all the "trialist" games.

Once again let's not try to dilute a great full debut though.

:)

I know he is :)

We've done it a few times.

Very few people seem to remember how Monty began his Blades career, beating men down the wing regularly :)

Back onto Naughton though, it's great that he can interchange with the winger so fluidly, very useful to have.

I remember when Monty played right back against Sunderland once and that was probably one of his best performances ever.

If Kyle continues to impress do you think Geary will be on his way in Jan????

I think so!

Yes it was a brilliant performance. lets hope he continues on with this standard and becomes a first team regular

I thought Naughtons performance was one of the best debut's i've seen a blade have for some time. He looked a threat going forward, and on occasion made a couple of good runs. What I really liked though was, that despite his ambition to get forward he still made tackles and on one particular occasion in the first half he was being chased down, running towards his own goal and he had both the strength and ability to hold of the Watford player. I think having him and Halford down the right side could work quite well because when Naughton does get adventurous Halford is more than capable of covering.

I dont want to get too carried away with him, afterall we were playing a very poor Watford side (IMO) but the lad was given a chance and I think he's grabbed it with two hands.

Really looking forward to seeing him play next.

UTB

Great performance, and now he can take it from here.

Well done

He seems a very athletic right back, very composed for someone of his inexperience, rarely looks troubled due to his pace.

Once he gets the confidence to show his playing ability then i would reckon he'll be a recognised Blades player.

Did he start? Sort of player is he?

And sorry for my ignorance but where does he play? :D

you on a scouting mission ?

then again you couldn't afford him, and dont say owt about the takeover until it happens ;) which btw i believe it will

back on topic, sounded good on radio just as he looked on saturday :D

Had a steady game at Donny and made a few good forward runs.

:)

Naughts was let down at times with a lack of communication from his fellow defenders (Chris Morgan). Despite that, he played it safe and stuck to the adage - if in doubt, kick it out.

I did notice Naysmith on a few occasions putting his arm around the lad and offering advice... something perhaps his captain playing along side him ought to be doing?

So where does this leave Sun as he was looking one of our star performers b4 his suspension?

I beleive that sun is very much a utility player, and as such can play almost anywhere in the team. Would like to see him have a chance in the middle, especially if howard isnt signing

You're the third seperate person I've heard say this.

Morgan isn't the great captain many would have you believe.
