Well, out of my interest in football, I watched both legs and wouldn't want any of them.

Thought Mooy was outstanding in both games though - destined for the premiership apparently.

UTB

Liked the look of Bannan for SW, he's the only one who could play in our midfield.
however I thought Hudders Izzy Brown was the best player on the pitch
Also impressed with Hudders black right winger who came on as sub.

Bannan can be a tidy player and FF has so much ability but he comes across as a big headed twat and a diving shit, don't even think Wilder could sort him out!

Lee is not a bad player when fully fit.

Not sure about Bannan, he seems to drift in and out of games.

if he wasn't so loyal to wednesday id get keiron lee been impressed by him for years

EDIT: but knowing wednesday they'll all be on massive wages so none of them

I've not seen much of the snort beasts on tv. A mate who watched both games said they were all wank. they wouldn't fit in with wilder's team spirit and work ethic!!. We only want winners at bdtbl. Utb ftp

To be fair to Andy Hinchliffe (who usually talks bollox) and Keith Andrews (usually talks sense) they both said that the play offs should have been a given for the Pigs after what they spent and that Carlos has basically brought in a right rag tag and bobtail bunch of over paid wannabes.

They said that they play as a bunch of individuals, have little cohesion, and can be outplayed by teams who play as a team unit. Think this is bang right about the pigs. So on that basis I don't want any of the overpaid, over hyped anti footballing piggy wankers. They usually look like a pile of shit whenever I've seen em. Wilder's team will give their star individuals a right mullering next season....Bring it on.

tell you what
our fears on going up there should have been seriously curtailed after watching both semi finals
the only real quality player on view is retiring

Colin Quanar for Huddersfield, the wrangly forward who set up the goal after coming on as sub changed the game. Strong as 4 Wednesday weaklings.

I thought similar pal. That winger of theirs is called Quaner btw. He ran them ragged at the back and was getting around his many every time.

From the first televised Pig match that I saw this season (Norwich away) to last night, they have stunk the league out with their negative anti-football.

It may be down to how Carvahal sets them up, but the only one of their players who remotely impresses me is the keeper, Westwood. Stuart Gray really did them a favour with that signing.

A functional, defensively-minded midfield lacking in any creativity whatsoever. Perhaps that's what you need in the Championship and that we'll discover that, in fact, it isn't just the Pigs that don't even try to play any football. We'll see. For the time being, though, it just reinforces how brilliant it is for us, having proper footballers to watch in our midfield.

Of course, they've expended plenty on the striking department, not least in wages, to try to ensure that they take a higher than average percentage of the very small number of chances that they make. Players with 'name' but who, in the cold light of day, have been discarded by struggling (and now relegated) top flight teams because their stars are on the wane.

Ultimately, the fact that there is nobody other than the keeper, that other teams would want, tells you everything. When are any top flight clubs linked with Pig players? They're not. Contrast Brighton (Dunk, Knockeart etc), or even sides coming down like Hull (Maguire, Robertson) or Boro (Gibson) who have assets coveted by other clubs.

No, the Pigs have gone all out for buying the finished article on big wages. And when that fails, you get left with a basket-case of a football club with squads of players with a name and on big contracts but with no re-sale value. It can take years (as we know) to sort that out.

The Championship, contrary to what the Pigs and local media etc keep telling us, is half-full of these basket case clubs (Forest, Villa, Derby, Norwich, Ipswich, Wolves etc), which is why I have absolutely no fears about us going in there with a team of hungry players on the up. And there isn't a single outfield player in their squad that I would be interested in.

LS16 that is a great summary of the Pigs and the Championship. The way sides like Brighton and Huddersfield have prospered without massive names is indicative of this.

What sets those 2 sides apart is young, progressive managers and we've got our own version at the Lane.

Having said that and ignoring the wage implications both Bannan and Wallace are good players and would fit into our style of football.

Plunder that team of utterly charmless twats ? I don't think so. Wallace apart, it's impossible to warm to any of em.

"What do we want ?
McClaren or Pardew.
When do we want it ?
Now ! (tho it'd be funnier if they left it until July when everyone else is miles ahead and it's too late to sort the squad out, the useless twats").

McLaren was there at the game...hope he goes for the job!
I'm sure his CV of assistant to Fergie, league titles in Holland, and England manager will impress their owner!

We don't want to be taking any of their players thanks. Certainly not the ones who were in the first team this season. We need to leave them to stink their club out for a good while

Oh please please please let the grinning fool that is Schtevie McClaren get the position of new Boss Hog

He was the summariser of 5live last night. While his reading of the game was okay he chucked in real trade secrets like, "We have a saying that he is on fire".

They mentioned the Director of Football link at Uddersfield and he said he was "too young". Time left for one more 'big push' with the pigs then?

Izzy Brown is on a season loan from Chelsea, we could do a lot worse than enquire about same deal for us next season please.

Their owner confessed to knowing nothing about football when he bought the pigs.

So McLaren is a shoe in
