We now have 5 on the books
Sharp
Hanson
Evans
Lavery
Clarke
All will be decent but I suspect non outstanding in the Championship.
What do people think is that it or will there be incoming or outgoings.
My guess is for one more incoming.

We have just been promoted from League one after 7 seasons, with some but not massive investment.

The season finished 8 days ago.

You expect up to get an outstanding championship forward? How?

Would have thought five is about the right number. And that group is pretty well balanced in terms of different attributes.

One out-one in as regards any more forwards I'd have thought.

Unless Wilder's planning to go Full Warnock on us

One more either with pace or height - not sure which, tricky decision.

Maybe we'll sign one of each if Hanson moves on.

If it's just one then maybe a quick striker who can play wide would be the best option.

Let's hope Clarke can stay fit and step up a level as there's only one name there who got into double figures in league one so logic says it's gonna be difficult a level higher

Height we have Hanson and Clarke.

We need a striker with some pace.

Leaving aside all the baggage that comes with him, why did we need to sign him?

He's a slight improvement on Hanson, but that's about it and Hanson offers something different to him anyway in terms of ariel challenge.

But I don't expect either Hanson or Clarke to start. Think we could do with a better big striker, someone to rely on at that level.

Lavery has pace and is more likely to play than those two IMO, and we could also add pace out wide.

I do agree that we need to sign a striker with pace though, someone with the ability to create for himself and others. I wouldn't just want to go with Lavery as that option.

I've just experienced that thing I call the "Horsfield Shudder".

Names Geoff, sorry couldn't resist.

 Don't do that !

Geoff Horsfield. The Pauper's Porter.

I saw him score for us once, in a proper competitive match too. Shouldn't I get some kind of badge or something for that ?

I would expect another striker to be a loan one, if and when necessary through injuries.

Agree that we definitely need another striker.

The championship will be more demanding with fitness, fatigue and more importantly better quality playing it's part, you can never have too many goalscorers knowing this part of the game.

Goalscorers are like gold dust, that's the problem.

I think Bradford are to strong for Millwall , but I'm not sure about Gregory in any case ,to similar to Evans and Sharp .
I think we need raw pace and power , difficult to find I know.

Baxter can play again cant he ?
Re released him , and Everton have offered him a contract with there under 23's to give him a second chance there and like a 3 rd chance in football. I think they feel some How they are responsible for it
