Florent Cuvelier, born in Anderlecht Belgium.
Being injured for years doesn't class as being a regular;).

Ultimately, I don't care where our players are from as long as they're good enough and have the right attitude.

Always wondered what happened to our scouting network abroad, or did we just have a someone who agent approached

We have had some great foreign players

Flo
Wirmola
Nielsen
Vonk
Borbokis
Dellas
Katchuro
Tebily
Although I never saw him,Sabella

I appreciate this list can be countered with
Smeets
Ten Heuval
Bousatta
Calve

Anyone care to add to this or even better say if they know why this changed?id love another Vas

Aside from the rather dubious reasoning about dressing room banter, a real reason for sticking with home nation players is the pending Brexit regulations. I assume that any current EU National would require a work permit in the future.

I'm no Brexit expert so I fully expect a few corrective responses.....

Post Brexit signings might need work permits but that's still unclear as far as I'm aware.

Current workers from the EU will probably be ok, it would mean kicking out hundreds of thousands if not millions of people. I can't see that happening!

We'll definitely have at least one foreign player next. Pretty sure it's a prerequisite in the top two divisions to have a player called Sakho.

We haven't signed players from overseas for many years because our scouting network probably hasnt extended that far due to finances. Lets not forget that Cloughy only ever signed ex derby or Scottish players!!

I couldn't give a shit were our players were from as long as they give their all.

At least I can understand what Mr Wilder say's. I've heard Carlos speaking on R/S for what seems like an hour and got no idea what he's rambling on about at the end of it...

Or up Lucy's isle?
