Do we have any foreign players?

Apart from the home nations, do we have any foreign players in the squad?
Not being racist or owt but the dressing room seems incredibly close knit with all the players getting on.
Lots of premiere clubs are almost all foreign players and many don't speak English so you would think it would be difficult to create the fantastic dressing room that we have.
A lot of managers tend to keep to home grown players and i can see the reasons why. Again, not being racist, just trying to put across the benefits of having a squad where everyone understands each other and can crack a joke or whatever that can create a good atmosphere.

But registered as Northern Irish, so would still count as a player from the British Isles, so nope we have no foreign players that are registered as such.

As I've said on other threads, as we look to push on through the Championship we're going to need much better athletes within the team/squad.

I'm sure as this happens we'll see a more ethnically diverse make up to the squad.

Aside from the rather dubious reasoning about dressing room banter, a real reason for sticking with home nation players is the pending Brexit regulations. I assume that any current EU National would require a work permit in the future.

I'm no Brexit expert so I fully expect a few corrective responses.....

After the season we've had, we're now shopping in a much larger pool than we were 12 months ago.

I just hope we keep a tight grip on who we're bringing unlike our 'friends' in S6 who just take anyone. This is where it starts to get really complex for Tufty.

Why do we need foreign players? Can't we do a Bournemouth ? I prefer the fact that our players are all from the British isles and that we aren't like Watford

Personally I think the players should be of similar nationality. You will only get one clique within the club then. Wouldn't bother me if they all came from UK or all came from Uganda if the team spirit we've seen this year continues.
