Is anybody like me, absolutely fuming?
35 minutes on glorious Bolton, 20 seconds on 100 points 30 goals Billy.

I'm still drunk, was looking forward to the highlights, but tonight I know why SBT uses such language!
Lets have some sort of inquest about this me owd Bladesmen n BladesWomen!

This is why I started doing the highlights thread on here.

Channel 5's coverage is pretty shit and the BBC were not much better before them.

I ranted about this pork infested, abortion of a television show in the shoutbox earlier and I don't really have the time or energy to go into the details again BUT if anyone still thinks we are being paranoid please say so and I will make the effort to go over it a second time.

It will be interesting to see how many live matches we get next season on Sky especially since the gods of football L**ds United will still be in the Championship.

To be fair I think Sky (normally) give us a decent cracking of the whip, in comparison to these toss rags on C5 where there is clearly something going on.

That being said the Tevez billboard last season made me wonder whether slimball Garrido is now influencing things for Sky? No way that was accidental, not in a million years.

The Tevez billboard was no accident and that is partly the reason I will be surprised if we are shown more than 5 times next season regardless of how well we are performing.

I got a theory that maybe, just maybe, this is something to do with somebody at the Football League (not the shitty EFL) having an issue with us. No manager of the month all season, only one player of the month, constant bias against us in the highlights, always us that gets fucked around with kick off times (Coventry away for example), constantly being allocated shit refs from league two (yep, thats true). Maybe Mr McCabe was one of the few chairman who voted against the 5 league plan or the shitatrade paint pot trophy and Mr Harvey has joined Mr Scudamore in taking expedition to us.

Was great to see the Football League dignitaries getting a good round of booing earlier.

Don't normally buy into the idea that 'the whole world's against us'.... but (forgive my language) FUCK ME!!!! A show dedicated to the glory of finishing second!!! Unfuckingbelievably piss poor coverage. Utter utter fucking shit. And I'm not normally one to allow myself to be irked by the 'cnuts' in the press. Fuck 'em anyway.

We're the Champions by a country fucking mile. Thanks to Chris Wilder and the players for making an old bloke (me) happy! And thanks to all the posters on here... even the nutters (you know who you are ). S24su is the best place on television Web. Thanks to Foxy and Linz for making it all possible. ... including pissed up gushing shite like this..!!!!! Enjoy your summer one and all UTMB!!!!!!

It's totally understandable that Bolton was the main game but to devote so much of the show to them and barely mention the team who finished 14 points above them and achieved 100 points was ridiculous. The little jibe about us "hoping to stay in the division" alongside the comments of Bolton pushing for the play offs next season just added to the farce.

I'm not one of the "everyone is against us" crowd but there has been enough evidence on this shitty little show to suggest there is a bias against us. Starting from the very first show when they threw our shirt on the floor all the way through to hardly mentioning us all season when we have pissed the league.

Come back Manish. All is forgiven

#RAGE

I only wish this had been done before.

Trying not to let it annoy me, but its proper got to me. I dont care if people hate us, but for a programme to completly disregard the achievements of this season, it is totally out of order. We haven't just won the league, we have romped home and proven we are better than any other team including sh**ty bolton by a country mile. If anyone is going to challenge next season, it will be us because i genuinely think we arnt far from it already.

I hope channel 5 and its pathtic attempt of a football show go under... And we never have to see its inept smarmy presenters ever again.

Also while on my rant, Kevin Davies super blade can do one aswell, Mr Bolton has never mentioned his supposed boy hood club.

Thank you for listening.

Why does anybody expect and different it's a tin pot television channel run by nobodies for wankers who do nothing more than watch day time television and watch shitty commercials advertising trash.

put sky sports news on this morning

nothing , nada , sod all
like it never happened
a quick word on bolton and fleetwood our name never came up

Thanks for the email, i for one be sending something, as mentioned above it isnt about the show its respect for the amazing job done by the players and staff... Completly ignored!!!

We are that far in front, the numpties at C5 probably think Bolton came first.

I'm not proud of this but got involved in a twitter spat with George Riley, he really is a dislikable human being. At least we will have more coverage in the Championship next season, season after that it's Match of the Day!

Fuck 'em. We don't need shallow plaudits from a shit show. WE are the champions, WE are 14 points clear of their precious Bolton, and nothing they do can change that. Let the Lancashire twats wallow in their fake glory...we all know who are the real stars of this season.
This.

What did he say? He looks like the most smug man in Britain

I wrote to them, it was along these lines:

I just wanted to let you know that the coverage on Goal Rush (for some reason a separate show) is unfairly delivered. Most recently the time given to Sheffield United clinching 100 points and celebrating winning League One. Far more time was given to almost every other team, this appears unfair and ignoring of a wonderful feat. I believe Lynsey Hipgrave is a very accomplished and likeable broadcaster and I'm glad you have brought her on board, the mix of special guests is interesting and I'm delighted you removed the live crowd element but not sure splitting the two shows has worked nor the seemingly random amounts of time allocated to some teams over others in a week-by-week basis.

I wish you well for further coverage in the future and hope you will address my concerns and genuinely recognise remarkable footballing achievements like winning a league and at least giving passing reference to things like: collecting 100 points (after setting that exact goal), having the season's top goalscorer, receiving a trophy in front of the largest crowd in the league all season, scoring three goals in each of the last 4 games, having a defender go unbeaten in every match he played (Jake Wright) and not being beaten for over a year (in fact the last time he was beaten was when he was playing for Oxford against his current Manager's Northampton side, that's something all football fans would find interesting), hosting a truly memorable title celebration on the pitch (so much so that some opposition players even stuck around to watch) etc...

I've not watched it all season to be honest but it does sound very poor coverage. On a side note, am I the only one that has tried to play back episodes on their Iplayer from time to time and it never seems to work? I did sign up too to watch.

Well I think that we know now that there's definitely Pork in the production. I watched the Championship goals on Saturday, I thought I'd check out the competition fo next season....

So, we take 7.5k+ to MKD in league one last week and it doesn't get a mention, and yet their 2k to Ipswich in the Championship warrants a 'Backed by another excellent away following'. Have they ever mentioned our gates or away support?

Then it cuts to the beardy git in the studio and he drools, 'Another fabulous result for Sheffield Wednesday, and they're sooooo good to watch as well'. Now the odd game apart, everybody who watches football knows that that's utter bollox, the more honest Pigs would readily admit it as well, most games this season they've been poor to watch but ground out results.

As far as Saturday's game was concerned, the Sky reporter said that they had been very poor and he was nodding off till just before they scored, and even the Channel 5's own reporter said it was a 'tedious' game which is par for a Piggy course. So where did the 'Sooo good to watch' comment from? Two games against the Toon?

Seems that they don't just ignore us, they also big up the Pork. Maybe the tin a tuna king has shares in C5. ;)
