If this current trend of 'new'and 'returning' support carries on at the the lane, coupled along with the season ticket sales and let's say an average of two thousand away following,I reckon the blades will be averaging 27000 for the home games.
What we reckon??

I can see our average topping 25k, there will be 30k gates with Weeds/pigs (Fulham are winning play offs) plus a few early 20k's v crap like Burton.

Then when we go up next season McCabe needs to build some more seats, Prem gates could push 35 - 40k easily.

Going to be hell of season by the sound of that, I'll have half a pint of what you've been supping :)

A Season Ticket for the Kop in Phase 3 is £ 378.00 for all adults . This equates to £ 16. 3437 per game . In other words , i havent a fucking clue

EDIT . Season Ticket sales are apprx 16,000

Average this season will be nearer 22K than 21K.
So let's call it 25K average for this season plus an extra 1K away fans
So using my Piganomics calculator, 25 + 1
Yeh that's 30K average gates next season.

Sorry I was being an arse. Our average will mostly depend on our pricing structure, anything between 22,000 - 27,000 I'd say.

26000 average if we have an average season

Lots of clubs will sell out or virtually sell out the 3000 on the lower tier depending on whether they are midweek matches or Saturday matches
Leeds, Derby, Forest, Sunderland, Wendy, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Norwich, Villa, Middlesbrough,

Cardiff and Ipswich might bring a lot depending on the kind of season they're having

Birmingham might if they stay up

That's more than half the home games where I'd expect the lower tier to be almost full

If our 21000 grows to a conservative 23000 - 24000 that means most of our games will have 26000 - 27000

And that's if we have a boring average season

Do you think wed give the clubs youve mentioned the bottom tier only ?

Since the Christmas fixtures United have averaged around 23-24k, if we were to have a decent season next season, say a good punt at the play-offs we'd easily average high 20s. The fact that'll we'll be playing a lot of teams we haven't met for a few seasons, some good attractive fixtures that'll pull in plenty of our fans, plus bigger away followings than this season should see us comfortably get a bigger average than this seasons 21.5k.

Also remember, although the bottom tier has 2,990 seats.
In recent season we've only ever allowed a max of 2,100 in there.

I assume it will be the same next season.
First 2 rows netted off and then 2 lots of netting at either end meaning 900 empty seats.
Also I don't think the bigger clubs will be happy with 2,100 tickets, so would imagine we'll sell some up in the upper tier too BUT that means reduced capacity again with a big no mans land in the top tier.

You would have thought loads of HD cctv cameras and signs warnings they can be banned or prosecuted should be a big enoug deterrent to control things up there so only a small amount of netting would be needed for segregation.

A mid table average season will mean 25K average gates, if we're anywhere near the playoffs then about 27K average, would be more without all this netting.

Current average is 21,478. Even 30k v Chezzie & average would be 21,848. So far, we've had 12 crowds of 20k+ with another to come on Sunday and our last seven home games have been 20k+ but that would be eleven without the Fleetwood game (19,012) but, for a Tuesday night in January with practically fuck all away support, still a remarkable crowd.

It depends if you win the playoffs.

Oh, sorry, wrong forum.

you deserve more likes for that one sir.

As of 2 and a half weeks ago we'd sold 16k season tickets. That's already 2.5k more than last season and we're no doubt about it on target to hit 20k. So 6 and a half more than last season. Add that to this years average attendance of 21,500 and you have 28k plus bigger away attendances. We'll have a very high average next season and if we do well it could be just shy of 30k
