Wanted 10k a week allegedly even though never played above L2. CW said not a chance and got JOC for half that. More proof that our transfer dealings are safe in his hands.

There was no proof that we were ever in for him. We have better defenders in our team as it stands. I would say he is on par with James Wilson.

Can't see Wilder going back for him, he started numerous times that he doesn't want players who command excessive wage demands. I think there are numerous other options which some have mentioned on here. My choice would be Tom Lockyer of Bristol Rovers. Many won't have heard of him but he has rave reviews consistently for Rovers and at 22 and their captain I think he would be an excellent addition. He's played 177 first team games already too.
