Sorry, I didn't know i had to be good at English to post on a fans forum. I'm passing on a bit of information i know, which won't be often and your coming at me about spelling and grammar.

Welcome to the forum.

Wait till yer post in the wrong section or start a new thread when one already exists.

Have fun and enjoy it.

What boils my piss are people who seem to want to rubbish all claims from people who have heard a bit of gossip or news, are abusive or choose to ridicule often genuine people who have been told a bit of news that is right.

Are those people so feckin dim that they think all negotiations and goings off are between people who make a sworn pact of secrecy not to discuss anything with anyone beyond the 4 walls they are in? Do they think meetings always take place in secure areas.....swept for witnesses and cleared while those who are part of the negotiations are ushered into the room under high security and disguised to protect identities?

1. Player negotiations often take place outside the club.
2. Meetings take place with Player, club representatives and agents and also possible players family.
This isn't warfare and national security...we aren't dealing with presidents and the royal family. It's a football club discussing the purchase of a player.

That means the public might witness people arriving at the place of the meeting, or maybe all the people involved won't be able to stop themselves mentioning it to their friends, colleagues and family BECAUSE THAT IS HUMAN NATURE! Not forgetting the snakes of agents who will regularly twist news and release it to certain people to make trouble and do so with the sole aim of earning themselves more money.

So info DOES get out...a lot. And nothing to do with a lack of professionalism on the part of the club, it happens at every club.

I used to get the odd snippet.....my source is no longer at the club. But when he was, it was bang on because he was boardroom level. He didn't share for me to plaster all over the Internet, just because he knew as a passionate Blade I would be interested to know what (shit usually sadly) was going on at my club!

So, those who doubt all info you are dumb. And just because you might think it crazy or unbelievable doesn't make it bollocks or made up.

Rant over.

Absolutely spot on young man. This is the most accurate post I've seen on this site.

Isn't that the problem though? With the amount of bullshit posted by attention seekers is it any wonder people are cynical. True, some posters are probably genuine but a lot certainly aren't and make shit up for a laugh. There isn't really any way of telling them apart until a particular poster is shown to get things right on a regular basis. Most don't because they get a couple right but then get a bit carried away and end up posting too early about things that then fall at the last hurdle and lose the credibility they previously had.
The real ITK people tend not to post rumours or betray confidences so it's usually second hand information

Disappointing, but if they want to pay him huge wages then good luck to them.

I think that we would have been able to offer more and I'd like to think we would have been a more appealing package.

For this reason, I don't think we were in for him. I don't see that as an oversight from Wilder or Knill as they were obviously aware of him after reportedly being interested when managing a Northampton a year ago.

That can only mean that we've got better choices in store. I'm hoping for McFadzean personally.

Kevin Long???

He's a good lookin' bastard aint he?

In fact, far too handsome for a central defender. Glad he's gone elsewhere.

Wouldn't be my first choice. I'd prefer McFadzean, Egan, Pierre or Nelson. I don't pretend to be the master scout though, so I'll not be worried if we end up with 3 completely different players.

Often it's the unknowns that come through and become much more 'known' as the season goes on.

Nathan Byrne for example. Who the fuck knew about him before the 14/15 season?

It's about picking players that will hopefully come in and do similar for us.

Luckily there are other good left sided centre halves available.

Pierre, Beevers and Rod McDonald for starters.

Then there's all the others like Long and McFadzean who we seem to be in for.

I'm sure we're going to be strong at centre half. We can't afford not to be, Wilder knows that.

Like Hussey? ;)

MacAnthony has just put he's on £11k per week on Twitter. Unless I'm misreading it?

A League 1 player signed from Mansfield - amazing wages. World's gone mad!

Magic Mike - a complete and utter bullshitter?

I feel like me Mum's just told me Santa isn't real. :(

You'll always have a place in my heart, Mike.

Santa aint real??? Well who the fuck used to come and empty their sack in my bedroom on Christmas eve then?

He was being sarcastic
So it seems that was bollocks too

Maybe we were never in for him after all

Who knows if were interested, but although I'm disappointed that he didn't sign for us (if indeed we were interested) I fully trust in Wilder to sign some decent centre halves. I reckon if we sign any two from Greer, Nelson, Long, McFadzean or Egan we'll be just fine. Probably they'll be someone we've not even thought of who will arrive. I'd love a totally left-field player from the Swedish Non-league! Jonas Wirmola mark 2! Still miss that guy!

maxstertheblade predicted the Sharp, Sammon, and Edgar signings just before they happened.

Then the Duffy one yesterday morning. And now this which does seem true having a look at what Tafazolli's been liking on Twitter etc.

He's obviously getting the info from somewhere. Credit where it's due.
He's got plenty wrong in the past, but he's a reformed lad now.

100% record so far this pre-season.

1 wrong and he's a bullshitter again though. :)
Thanks for showing me up Max you twat.

Always knew you were a little bullshitter really. :)

Booker , I have seen the bloke player about half a dozen times , and he reminded me of a Butler waiting to happen , who ain't pulled up any trees at relegated Donny .

My view is Wilder is after bigger fish and better players . The bloke has signed for Peterborough not Premiership .

Agree with you. , better players out there who have to fit into a system .

Fuck me Long and Tafazolli is a recipe , yes for disaster .

Let's trust wilder who is ITK.
