First OP I have made, but been a visitor for many years, and a member for a while.
Just wanted to express my point of view on how I feel and the future I think we can hope for and expect.

What we have at last is the club we all revere, respect and love.
It's been a while, but as my name here suggests, I believed it would always happen.
We are unlike most "Big Clubs" in that we stick by our principals and desire.
Good quality football above anything else, no fancy "Dans" or mercaneries.
Commited, talented, honest and brave players, nothing more required.

I actually doubt we will ever make the very top heights of the Premier league, unless it is similar to Leicester's rise, because we have a mentality that would not allow us to forsake our principals.
This has led us into dark times occasionally, but this makes the success all the sweeter when it comes.

The club is successful at last because the backbone is made from Blades. The owner, King Kevin - the ultimate believer, however many bad choices he has made - he's paid for them himself. The manager - now Lord Chris in my eyes - or the Messiah - so passionate - this will be his life's work, and the captain, Prince Billy, the leader in dressing room and on the pitch. The Fans - well nuff said, the best in the land.

They all have the same love, feelings and principals as the rest of us Blades, and nothing else matters. We are currently putting this philosophy into practise, and how it works.

One of the best things about this week has been the out pouring of congratulations and support from all quarters. Ex players in particular, other teams fans and managers, foreign clubs et al - maybe not the media......... Well everyone can't love us, how boring would that be!

So, in my eyes, if we keep the same belief, style and commitment, the Championship holds no fears, neither the lower half of the Premiership, but then what do we do? I'd stick with what we've always had against all the corporate glory of the Premiership big league. The Blades way is the best way as far as I'm concerned.

I've been a blade for 50 years, taken to the Lane by my dad when just 5 years old. I've been through the highs and many lows, but I am proud and please to say the Blades are back, and long may it continue.

For a first OP, it's a cracker, very emotive.

Nice one . Proud and Respect . Thank you

Interesting thoughts.
Don't agree with a lot of it but good to read and the more opinions the better.

Make no mistake, if things go tits up next season Wilder will be hounded out.

Look at Ranieri.

Nice OP but I'm not sure about these principals of good football.

Commitment and hard work, certainly but they should be a given.

We've not had nearly enough good football in my three and a half decades watching us though.
