Who do we want to go down/stay up in the Championship?

Rotherham are a write off, which is a shame, Id have liked Burton to stay up if it wasn't for Clough so they can go for me, and maybe Brum for the fact they needless sacked Rowett that would be sweet. I really don't care about Blackburn. Wolves would be interesting maybe a cheeky bid for Coady....I wouldn't want EEL here next season should we go up he can stay there, Wolves have gambled on us wanting him by tying him to a large contract, they will regret it when he's on their books for another 3 years.
 



I'm just thinking about grounds I haven't been to so hope BoringBoro & Swansea come down. For the same reasons I hope Blackburn and Bristol city stay up. Could be on 82/92 next season if the right teams are promoted/relegated.

For footballing reasons it would be nice to have Burton, Fleetwood & Scunny in championship as I think they'd be nailed on for bottom 3, but anyway with the right signings I think we'll be comfortable mid table next season regardless.
 
Well I hope for today at least, that Wolves are on the end of a very miserable result. That, along with a Blades win will complete the ideal weekend. If any of our chasers slip up, all the better :)
 
I'm amazed at how many people want Forest to go down?! I get almost as excited about games against Forest as I do against the Dirties or Wed****ay. I'm foaming at the mouth at the prospect of playing some decent, well followed football clubs next season - without wanting to sound all twattish about league 1 clubs... it's just not the same!

Be handy if Reading could up through the Play offs
 
You want to be playing the bigger Clubs , so I'd prefer Forest and Birmingham survive

Getting rid of Rotherham , Wigan and Burton , where they can play at their more realistic level in Life , would ensure a pretty strong championship next season , especially if Sunderland drop down too
 
I just want us to go up. I don't care what any of the current Championship teams do until we are there.

That division will be very heard irrespective of who stays in it. We will need to strengthen the squad regardless.
 
Would love Wendy's, Seatsmashers and Scabs to be our opening 3 fixtures next season.

Reading seem to be least offensive of the play off teams. But it would be nice for Hudds to give the Seatsmashers the middle finger.

The PL already has enough shit like them. I don't want to see another club like them pumped with multi millions for the foreseeable future.

I'd rather Leeds go up.

Tin hat on.

But it's hardly a good choice for us when choosing a Championship play off winner this season.
 
Hull, Sunderland, Middlesbrough down from the Prem.

Newcastle, Brighton, Reading up from the Championship.

Rotherham, Wolves, Forest down from the Champ.

Blades, Fleetwood, Scunthorpe from League One.

I think that would be the ideal scenario in terms of guaranteeing our position next year.
 



Rotherham could get relegated today. Did want them to do well, however it will be sobering to some of their fans who forget how we helped them back when they were having difficulties.

Weirdly all the other teams are playing away from home, and think we can assume at this point that this time there's no way Wigan will squeeze their way out of trouble with a 7 point gap no form and not enough games left.

So one of Forest, Burton, Blackburn, Bristol City, Birmingham and Ipswich realistically will play in league one next season.

Hope its Forest or Birmingham still!
 
A thrilling game this evening where Wigan somehow managed to grab a win against Barnsley to put them four points from safety. Reckon they will still go down with Blackburn, which is a pity because they'd sure be in trouble next season if they survived, however we do have some big matches against Forest etc to look forward to instead.

Wonder if there are any players from Wigan or Blackburn we'd like to poach? Burn and Morsy? XD
 
Blackburn and Wigan to join Millers, Fulham to pip the pigs on goal difference for the playoffs.

NW to throw a spanner in the works at the sty today.

We will have Sunderland, Boro and Swansea at the Lane next season. I think Hull and palarse will stay up.
 
So Zola has resigned. Feel for him, he's a class act and one of my favourite non Blade players.

Wigan might crawl out of trouble but probably will fall short.

So the final place will be one of Blackburn Birmingham or Forest.

Hope it's Birmingham to teach their owners a lesson, though would be funny to laugh at Florist. Want Blackburn to stay up as they'll be useless next year.
 
I hope that Wigan and Forest go down, since both of those teams have players we could poach.
I wouldn't take anyone from Blackburn's team at all and can't imagine them being any better next season so they'd be an easy couple of games.
