Saw this Debate on another Blades forum.
For me united´s worst ever player has to be Lee Baxter for his 45 minutes at burnley!

John Ebbrell has to count though through now fault of his own.

Cost £1million and made one appearance.

Can hardly say he was good for the Blades!

Technically D'Jaffo

I'm sorry, but anyone who scores against the Pigs doesn't count for the purpose of this thread!

Lee Baxter? don't think i remember him :p Horsefield £1.2million for two shite apperances as a sub, then a loan spell at Leeds!!

Scored the winner at MK Dons though :D

So we recouped some money!

Forgot all about that dreadful performance from Baxter.

For me.... hmmmm Michael Twiss maybe.

Too many to mention. Jonas Wirmola immediately springs to mind though.

he marked shearer out of game blackburn away 0-0 when they were on fire!think we had less than 100 tkts ,night match when they rebuilding their ground.nicky johns for me!! especially when sunderland hammered us at the lane

He must have been brave to leave the ground that day!

:o

Did he leave, I thought he was buried in the foundations of the Bramall lane stand in a concrete overcoat? Just goes to show how you cant believe evertyhing you hear.

It was a Monday night, and on Sky. I watching that in the Cutlers Arms at Gleadless. I have two abiding memories of that match.

One was wanting to rip Andy Gray's head off when, just after Shearer lunged in on Tracey, leaving Simon needing physio treatment and I think his shirt may have been ripped as well, the Scottish one opined,

"I'm glad Shearer's knee stood up well to that challenge."

Twat.

The other was seeing Bradders and Kevin Gallagher having a tiff, and going forehead to forehead. Gallagher fell like a dying swan, and to be fair the ref did nowt (as I recall). The best bit was when they showed the replay and the final still was of Bradders pointing to the "wounded", and pissing himself laughing :D.

We got relegated that year.

Geoff Horsfield.

The fact that no other club wanted to pay money to take him off us said it all really.
