Live, Laugh, Love
I'm 37 this September. I remember Swansea/Wolves. I remember Leicester. I remember, er, being at home at hearing that L**ds had drawn with Reading. So I've seen promotions.
But it has occurred to me lately that there are an entire generation of Blades who know nowt but shit. If you are, say, 18, we were relegated from the Prem when you were 8, and we were relegated from Division Two when you were 12. Since then, Clough cup runs apart, its generally been pretty shit.
But now, today, thanks to Wilder and these players, they now have a memory like I have, or like older lads who remember Darlington, or Cardiff and Watford at home have.
Our younger fans have had some stick in recent years, not all undeserved, but they have stuck with this club through some right shite. This is their reward and I hope they enjoy it.
