Bring it on. There for 11. Ale on way down. It's gonna happen there. We know it !!

There are at least two Good Beer Guide pubs open in the town centre at 10.. I'm sure Wetherspoons opens at 8 for those that like that kind of thing. Town is a decent drinking place so provided the eejits don't get the boozers closed it will become a red and white party town.

See you there!

I'm not certain that the demographic of said merchants and publicans is the most appropriate fit to have that much success in reaching out to them on a social media vehicle such as this.

Get em in, get em cold and get em sold.

Trust me when I say you will make some serious profit tomorrow and please none of that cheap stuff you brew down the river. Only quality gear this weekend...

Put me down for a dozen pints of decent proper beer and 2 fine bottles of Champagne... It starts here....

Carlsberg and lambrini it is then

if the spoons pub your on about is called the moon on the square its closed down sorry to disapoint but the malt shovel next to the carlsberg brewery is a good place for ale

There's only 1,400 of us going, we're hardly taking Northampton over.

I saw a post the other day that suggested parking at that pub near the ground (Walter Tull?), will we have to pay to park there/will we have to stay in that pub to be able to use the car park? I'm driving so can't drink but the plan is to get there for about 11 then have a wander somewhere so the other lads can have a beer.

Was me. However if you want food they won't serve you. All tables booked and no option to stand and eat burger etc ! If just beer it's alright and you can stay parked during game. We're off to Seven pub nearby. None of the issues and parking still ok !

As I mentioned, I'm not drinking so I'm not bothered but the other lads will want a beer and probably won't care about food, and 2 of them are real ale drinkers, so ideally we want to be parked somewhere close to a pub that has a good range of ales.

But Wetherspoons pubs don't shut down. They duplicate like bacteria in agar jelly until they're all you can see for miles around.

If you can get in to eat at Frankie & Benny's (across the road from the West Stand) they give you a free parking voucher if you ask for it. There's a small bar area also.

I'd prefer to drink ales, but I'm a novice so don't know what to try. I like most of the Bradfield ales but away from that, I have no idea so I'd rather play it safe and have lager.

Mate, you're so right. I think its a chav conspiracy to keep it Blade free tomorrow.

I've also heard they're planning to take over the Nether edge bowling club with a Lloyds number one. They're gonna call it The Brinks or The Brincliffe Oaks2...

My pub crawl tomorrow has been carefully crafted and let me say in the style of the magnificent 7, anyone who thinks there will be 1400 tomorrow, please add 2 to that...

Drink what you like WH. :)

One I'd recommend if you like hoppy ales is a bottle from Aldi - their American IPA. Try it. It'll surprise you.

Thornbridge Ales - Jaipur.
I hardly ever drink it as I have to drive - it's 5% so it's not a session Ale.

I like a lot of the Abbeydale and Kelham ales. Kelham best may be a bit Malty for your taste now. It certainly was for JonnyRed(WCFC) ;) :)
