Yeah, all roles regarding the club - fan, ball boy, player and now manager. I don't think anyone could hold it against him for leaving you for us. For Charlton, yes.

Question is, if not sacked, who would he leave us for...?

What do you mean I'm being replace by some rough Northerner?

I thought it would be nice Eddie Howe once I'd fucked up the World Cup.

Looks like he's having trouble "dropping the kids off at the pool"

Rodley tagged me on his ' well liked' pos, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it and all the pubescent humour.

Not sure this type of stuff helps with your depression Crab. Before anybody says that's a cruel comment, Crab chooses to discuss very publicly his worries and moods on the forum and gets careful advice. I can't imagine giggly type schoolboy vulgarity is any route to better personal stability though.

One clear message to the friendly Cobblers fans will be our subtle, mature humour here up North. Be proud lads.

Of course he did. Because Sheffield United came calling.

No offence but if you've got a cute missus and then a stupendously better looking woman asks you out, you're going to say yes...

And that much better looking woman turns out to be your childhood sweetheart...
He was never going to turn the job down and I'm just glad he left us for u and no one else

Having done such a good job in getting you up, I'm not convinced he would have left for Charlton or anyone else.

Good luck for the season (after Saturday).

Cheers pal and I don't think he was going to go to any other club except u, I think he just made ur board or owners make a quick decision because he made public he was available to offers elsewhere

This thread has really got a bit of everything. What's not to like.

Woody, I've really appreciated your advice, but it feels like you are using my current condition as a stick to beat me with. I only discussed in the hope people could help, and they and you have.

My sense of humour does help me, and yes it can sometimes be a bit childish, as I guess was the case in the post you mention. I am sorry for any offence caused and I am sorry if it offended any of our Northampton visitors. I wish them no ill whatsoever.
